Shave #216 (421 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:
Gear: Schick M Adjustable injector, Schick Twin blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ brown synth brush, Soapy Science Citrus Lollipop soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Pinaud Citrus Musk, Rosemary/Cinnamon/Lime EOs, and Jean Phillipe 1 Million clone to finish!
Corona Virus Official Day 141:
Had my fresh shave a day early. Up for work this morning.
Great shave with a fresh Schick Twin blade loaded into the M jectah. Very smooth on setting 3, near 0 blade feel. Nice to have my loaned out soap back. Soapy Science is a solid base and this citrus gave me 0 irritation today. Reminds me I still may need to trade out The Healers at some point. I need to give it another chance though first. Maybe tomorrow.
Who knows what magical things I’ll be roped into for today’s shift?! I’ll find out soon enough!

Thanks Tim! Ended up not being so magical lol...more ceiling tiles and washing down some stained glass windows outside.
Hmmm...
Our campus is actually quite old and has a number of seldom accessed basements and closets...there’s quite a few places to hide actually! The guy who’s place I took often took advance of such places...

I had a tub a couple years back and like the soap, but not the aroma. Mine was was very heavy on the peppermint, which didn't appeal to me. The soap worked well, though.

Showered, shaved, and refreshed for the day!
Nice shave with the Vector and a “welcome back” use age of Un Jour Gris. The neutral clean scent was the perfect base for following up with Barby PR and Royall Muske, which happens to play very nicely together I feel. My normal Tuesday “fresh” shave, in a different light.
Off to it! What’s “it” today? Probably figuring out how to film windows...

A little groggy but I’m up.
Nice shave this morning at least! Decided on the magical sandalwood scent of Proraso Red to start my day. Quietly zipped along while catching up on some shave videos, reveling in the nice scent. Finished it off, of course, with a healthy splash of the AS and some dabs of Guerlain Santal clone, which while not a perfect match, is still nice!
Today may be a shorter shift. We’re pretty much out of things to do. Window filming yesterday was interesting...I did OK for having to figure out what I was doing from a YouTube video and the heat didn’t help matters. Got some done though.
While our state is still in a time of relative shut down, our church is exploring some outdoor worship solutions (currently allowed). We as a staff have a week and a half timetable to figure something out. I think everyone is feeling a lot of pressure to do something in-person since having to re-close doors Sunday mornings a few weeks ago. Rough spot to be in.
