If you have to do something...

The Paladin is sounding nice. Is it a 26mm? My Simpson has a 20mm in it and I’d like something a bit bigger.

Shave #157 (413 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:

Gear: TNNSER 3D, GEM blade, Blackland Vector, Feather Pro blade, Paladin Harlequin Chief, CBL Barbershop premium soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Fine Platinum AS (original), and Fine Platinum EDT to finish!

Corona Virus Official Day 82:

At least I don’t feel like a zombie this morning. Still tired though.

Got my shave in this morning though! After much fiddling and trial and error last night, I finally got the TNNSER head assembly to work properly...I think? At least a blade was fitted in, LOL! I did mar the cap a bit, not realizing exactly how malleable the plastic would be one heated up a little, but I don’t think it will affect the shave. I gave the razor 2 out of this morning’s 3 passes. Sadly I think the GEM blade I was fiddling with last night got its edge messed up in the process. It shaved but was a bit rough and tuggy. No trouble for the Vector though! Paladin did an admirable job today, I don’t think I loaded enough though, as the lather was a bit thin.

Topped off with the Fine Platinum combo (one of which was the original formula AS, which has a heavy hand on the menthol)...and to quote a famous beverage holder, “Everything is right as rain!”

This morning, the youngest had his drive-thru project pick up and goodbye to his teacher for this last school year. The other two have theirs next week.

Zoom church reopening task force meeting this afternoon.

Today is going to be in the low/mid 80s. If I can stop feeling like a slug, it’ll be a great day!

Happy Friday all!

It’s lookin that way! It’s certainly improved my feelings about badger brushes!
Some may disagree, and many don't believe or understand until they try... but there really is a difference in higher end badger brushes. But, I'm a Paladin guy, so admittedly I'm a bit biased. But I doubt I'd really go for any other higher end brush (without good reason). I cleared out all my Simpson brushes, because Paladins are way better. IMHO

Don't mean to hijack your thread Chris. But...? for KJ

Have you tried Yaqui badgers? Any good? or should I save up for a Paladin?
