100%. I know it’s a classic though and that some enjoy it...it’s just not what the name would suggest to me.

Corona Virus Official Day 40:

TGIF! More training videos and congregational calls to make today. My boss said I’m way ahead of everyone else in terms of progress on the videos...which I crazy to me. They’re only 10-15 minutes each, with a short quiz after. I’ve only been doing about 3 a day! I think some of my coworkers have forgotten that they’re fortunate to still be getting paychecks for the time being...

Nice shave today. It’s been even longer since I brought out the Weck. It doesn’t glide quite as well as the Feather, which is surprising, but though the razor itself it mirror polished SS, the Personna blades are probably some super cheap stainless.

First use of the English Leather. I wouldn’t call it leather though...it’s more like a watered down Old Spice with a little more powder and some musk...very, little if any, leather scent. It’s OK, but not “wow”.

The Personna blades in the Weck aee light years ahead of the Fromm blades. The one time I used one, I felt like the aftershave was lit gasoline. Never used them since.

I’ve been very recently given permission to be stupid, not to be mistaken for a blessing mind you, and do the challenge of I so choose...

I’ll think of something. I do need to do it in a way that is mindful of my mother, who is totally, vehemently, against it.
