You got nothing on my Drill Sgt. @bentheduck
We had forced water breaks. I spent 20 weeks at Fort Benning GA during the summer. We carried two canteens of water on our LBE’s. Many times a day they would form us up and you had to chug a canteen on the spot. And hold it upside down. Drink all day and maybe take a wiz 1 or two times.
But thank you for your vigilance against the scourge of dehydration. Every heat casualty helps our enemies.

Corona Virus Official Day 40:

TGIF! More training videos and congregational calls to make today. My boss said I’m way ahead of everyone else in terms of progress on the videos...which I crazy to me. They’re only 10-15 minutes each, with a short quiz after. I’ve only been doing about 3 a day! I think some of my coworkers have forgotten that they’re fortunate to still be getting paychecks for the time being...

I’m ready for a no plans, maybe do-nothing, weekend. May do some trimming at some point just for the heck of it, some of our trees/shrubs look a little wild.

Nice shave today. It’s been even longer since I brought out the Weck. It doesn’t glide quite as well as the Feather, which is surprising, but though the razor itself it mirror polished SS, the Personna blades are probably some super cheap stainless.

First use of the English Leather. I wouldn’t call it leather though...it’s more like a watered down Old Spice with a little more powder and some musk...very, little if any, leather scent. It’s OK, but not “wow”.

My friend since this whole mess started I have not had such a good laugh...I only ever got that from my Mom when I would call her from some far flung place on this planet in the Army....it would usually be followed with "you could have been a lawyer"... :p

It has been pretty funny so far for sure!

My wife had posted the notes from the guys on FB and my mother immediately started hounding her about it there and over text. I tried to call her to assuage her fears...but she wouldn’t even talk to me lol, I had to relay things through my dad :LOL:
