If you have to do something...

Shave #96 (400 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:

Gear: Schick M Adjustable, Schick Twin blade, Yaqi SF synth brush, CBL Norse Spice soap, generic witch hazel, Thayer’s Medicated, and TF Ombré Leather to finish!

Corona Virus Official Day 21:

Have spent a good portion of the day doing some “den” cleaning in preparation for my 2nd Anniversary TSC box that should arrive in the next day or two. May have to PIF a few things to make some room...the wife caught sight of a good bit of my horde pile in the process lol.

My normal Monday video was actually shot this morning and still trying to get it worked up. Still signature Noir length, but with a twist.

Otherwise been a nice day, though a bit cold and rainy.

Have a blessed Sunday all!

BarberDaddyChris training Dontae how to do a 30 minute video to carry on the family legacy.

Great job Dontae !!!! What aftershave did he use ? Scent ?
Thanks Dave! Just teaching him the right way to enjoy the shave :p

I had him use Skin Bracer. No frag though.
I was hoping for a shorter intro for the young man.

Fun shave!
Hah! I think I’m going to restructure for the 100th and beyond to cut that down.

Thanks Larry!

Shave #97 (400 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:

Gear: RR GC .84 OC, Sputnik blade, Yaqi SF synth brush, CBL Money tonsorial soap, generic witch hazel, Thayer’s Medicated, and Givenchy Gentleman to finish!

Corona Virus Official Day 22:

Welp...it’s “Spring Break” week for the kids...and they know it too...darn it. There’s goes that day time structure we were working on :ROFLMAO:

Finally brought out the RR GC .84 OC for some shave time. Not bad getting back into it! I remembered it being a little more blade feel, but perhaps the months not using it simply made me more cautious with the angle, cause today was smooth and definitely tolerable.

Finished out the shave with Givenchy Gentleman, which I don’t think I’d actually used yet since KY Dave sent it to me. The scent is overall a nice light floral, fairly clean with one caveat...the opening and a good bit of the dry down is dominated by a singularly sharp note of what I believe to be musk. It’s not Aqua Velva Musk bad, not super funky, but it definitely makes its presence known! Definitely requires more future usage before a verdict.

I came up with an idea for a video series (non shaving) now I just need to figure out structure/implementation.

Have a great Monday all!
