Another day, another dol-...day at home!
Nice shave this morning with the final use of the Vector and this particularly long-suffering Feather Pro blade. Good thing too, it’s getting a little rough. CBL Aquatic Oud + Avon Tai Winds...excellence!
I think I’ll rotate between a couple DEs and my injectors this next month.
Feeling like I have to do something mildly biblically instructive for the congregation’s edification, even though I’m not expected or required to. Setting my mind to that, creatively, today.

Another day, another dol-...day at home!

Gear: Schick M Adjustable, Schick Twin blade, Yaqi SF synth brush, CBL Roasted Oatmeal Stout soap, generic witch hazel, Thayer’s Medicated, and Guerlain Homme Eau D’Parfum to finish!
Corona Virus Official Day 17:
Busy little morning. Directing schoolwork, helping deal with some issue our mortgage financed is having, cleaning out a bit of the fridge...boo.
Good shave though during some of the quiet space of the kids scribbling away. Just grabbed ROS cause it sounded good and the first Guerlain sample I saw so I can hurry up and finish them off. 3 easy, mild, smooth passes from the M and that was that! Didn’t bother to do much cleanup. Maybe I’ll do some second time today shaves too...work through some of my less desirable soaps...
Tonight we’re going to try and do some group chats for the kids and for our small group, to figure out some kind of way to carry forward with Wednesday night church programs virtually.
It’s Wednesday already? I can’t believe it!

Gear: RR GC .68, Shark blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ brown synth brush, CBL Grassroots Lavender soap, generic witch hazel, Thayer’s Medicated, Fine Savon Lavande and Guerlain Vetiver Extreme to finish!

Guess who just got voluntold to make sure the kids get some schoolwork done every day!
Yep, the missus has had it for the time being. My turn to be the task master!
Still got my shave in this morning. Decided to go lavender and vetiver. CBL’s Grassroots Lavender is a light but wonderful breezy lavender; the lather is fluffy, a little on the airy side of you don’t take some time to work it, and slick. Fine’s Savon Lavande is also a light scent and almost candied the way Myrsol C smells like candied violets. Guerlain Vetiver Extreme...well, you’ve seen that one here enough to know already! Great shave all in, did decapitate a couple acne uprisings, but otherwise uneventful.
Let the mastering of the tasks begin!

Corona Virus Official Day 19:
Yes, I just shaved! Busy Friday morning and afternoon yardwork since it’s supposed to rain tomorrow.
Decided, after the yardwork was finished, to do a cold water shave, which I haven’t done in a loooong time, to help me cool down. BTW, I hate the gradual warming to summer temps. Once it get in the low/mid 70s, I wish it’d just stop right there till fall. Anyway, green shave for a green work day. Vigorously exercised the atomizer pump to expel every last bit of the Vetiver Extreme sample and that was that! Good shave!
Thanks to the fervor this morning, the kids have completed their “schoolwork” for the week, and we’ve graduated into an early weekend!
Pretty sure an adult drink of some sort will be on deck this evening...

Gear: RR GC .68, Shark blade, Yaqi SF synth brush, DG After the Rain soap, generic witch hazel, Thayer’s Medicated, Pinaud SR AS, and Guerlain Ideal L’Intense to finish!

Guess what? I shaved before noon today!
Easy morning. Everyone slept in, even the kids...well at least a little later than normal.
For the shave, went for some darker scents than normal - DG ATR maybe not so much, but Pinaud SR for sure. Used Guerlain ILI to tie them together somewhere in the middle. I did find some rubber spacers to try on my razors to reduce handle/baseplate wear. They certainly help with a tight fit if nothing else.
Nothing on the docket today. It’s overcast and intermittently raining for most of the day I think, so we’ll see what unfolds!
