Tuesday’s shave.
Geneva Pyramid razor
Noble Otter Rawr
Yaqui Badger
Tabac

The rawr soap is a very bright “happy” kind of scent. Not recommended for those with the Emo or Goth type of mindset. Those types may also want to stay away from Tabac as this may cause you to not be a whiny self loathing goof afterwards

USSR Razor
Razorock 400
A&E Choco Cubano
Master Barber Spice AS

Decent shave. But was a little let down by the less than optimum sharpness of the razor.
Hence it shall go onto the “touch up shelf”.
Seeing as there are already several other razors hanging out up there. A weekend honing session is now in my plans.
Hope everyone crossed the half way point of the week in good nick.
Fluffy.

Thursday’s shave.
80B3CAFA-B6AE-41E9-A882-90C35916288D.jpeg
Double Arrow 66 Razor
LNHC Haute Leather Soap
SV Badger Brush
Nivea Vanilla and Bourbon AS.

Nice shave with a vintage Chi-Comm razor. The Double Arrow is a nicely done extra hollow grind.
The brush, soap and AS all combined with it to give an easy zero irritation smooth shave. Ready to close out my work week.

One of the many New York brands that examples of can be had for reasonable prices. And since so many were made. You can sometimes find minty ones. Tonight's razor I got for a few bucks. Because the scales were broken. It also allowed me to try my hand at making some scales. They are Black Walnut that I got from work. In the form of a log that was blocking an inlet to a pipe. Once I hit the log with the chain saw. The color of the chips, as well as the distinct smell of them. Had me cutting off some chunks and hauling them up the hill to my work truck. Wish the log was bigger as it could have been worth a good bit of money if big enough to get boards out of. The CBL Cigar Shop Indian has a nice smokey scent and pairs well with the Classic Pitralon.
I guess I caught @Smattayu ,Eric in a very impressionable state. Because I just mentioned he might want to check the Robeson's out. And he already has one on the way.
I am sure you will not be disappointed with it buddy. From your description it sounds like you have a "New Science Concave" like this one. A couple makers had their versions of this grind. Classic 1900's marketing kind of stuff. Their most prolific "The razor that fits your face" being some of the ones you see lots of.

Yep, that is exactly the one I’ve got coming. Same etching on the blade and everything, and I got it for a song. I’m partly offended that U.S. made razors usually go for so cheaply, and partly grateful lol. I have yet to find one that doesn’t shave like a champ, but that also means I can add great razors to my collection without breaking the bank.

0FDEE02D-B987-4F54-BCA2-BD4BBD47A387.jpegFor tonight's shave. I revisited the Seaforth Spiced soap. Man Oh Manischewitz this is one skippy scent. I have never really bought matching afterhaves for a soap. But just may have to get a bottle or two. Do I care if someone may think "it's an old man scent" not at all. The soap base is pretty good too. This one will be refilled when this tub runs low/out.
The Otto Busch Worldmaster 7/8th's is equal to my Fili 14's in user enjoyment points. Checks all the boxes. Dots all the I's. And removes whiskers like the Panzers rolled through France. Like jumpsuit era Elvis went through sweat rags. Like William Jefferson Clinton went through secretaries and interns. Well you get the point.
Hope everyone's Saturday went well.

I'm always curious when I see you using that CHH Tobacco. I'd love to find that someday.

Hey KJ it's something I saw on a SOTD on SRP. I like anything tobacco. Even though I don't smoke. Don't know why. But if you haven't seen my posts about getting it.
I can tell it again. I have another one from Portugal Tabex i think is the name. That smells horrible actually. Found that on the bay. Never got the nerve to put it on.
Maybe you can put some feelers out at work. If anyone you know is going to go to Germany/EU maybe get them to bring you some back. About the only way I could figure to get some.

Last two shaves. Both pretty good.

Attention TEASER I will be shipping out a surprise package tomorrow. One individual of this site will be getting an item that hopefully will be a bridge from one of their interests to the shaving realm. Talk amongst yourselves.
Fluffy.
