Fluffy's Curmudgeon Corner

Yea it’s a contracted company that runs the truck. And hauls the tankers he refills from. They pull loads out of Baltimore and park the full tankers nearby where we are working for the day. He parks the distributor truck at our shop and drives a pickup to and from his hotel/house. It’s a pretty specialized kind of truck. And very complex. The controls look like the Apollo cockpit. The spray bar has sections that fold up or down depending on how wide he wants/needs to spray. It also raises and lowers as well as shuttling left and right. There are about 30 nozzles that are independently operated Then he has to spray the right amount/thickness. That’s computerized , kind of. it adjusts for his speed. He has to maintain it. Work on it and fix it. As he is usually hours away from his shop and mechanics. He makes it look easy. But 30 years of experience can do that.

Haven't been posting lately. Sorry about that. Just cause I have not posted doesn't mean that I have gone full mountain man Chewbaca Sasquatch though. Been shaving like normal.
Been enjoying my new to me straights. The Leader and C-mon. As well as leaving the WK Merchant of tobacco in heavy rotation. Going to use up the soaps that I have smaller amounts left that way.
It's finally started to cool down here. I really do dislike the dog days of summer. Things have stabilized around here basically.
Thanks to the guys that checked in on me. Appreciate that. Hope you all had a good hump day.

I keep going back and forth on getting another sample of Merchant of Tobacco. There's something I love about it and something I hate. Anyway, good seeing you, Fluffy!

Yes Don 2020 will be much better off in the rear view mirror. The optimist in me says "It can't get any worse". But the curmudgeon in me knows different. Truth be told I am worried that our great country is slipping away. But November will tell me/us how far the forces arrayed against our freedom and way of life have managed to drag us. In our current world one only need to be "offended" to silence facts, truth and civil debate. I hope we get through this without tearing ourselves apart. But many will have to be offended, upset and shown the error of their beliefs to get this country back on the path that the founders set us on.
On the weather side of things. It's in the 40's this morning. Just walked the dog and it is brisk and clear. The murder of crows that frequent my neighborhood are skulking through the nearby trees. Calling to one another. They (crows) have no worries, except their next meal.

Amen to that Brother...Amen to that!

For I now...I am describing 2020 as "The Worst Parts of the Bible."

The crows...they are silently judging!
