Yea it’s a contracted company that runs the truck. And hauls the tankers he refills from. They pull loads out of Baltimore and park the full tankers nearby where we are working for the day. He parks the distributor truck at our shop and drives a pickup to and from his hotel/house. It’s a pretty specialized kind of truck. And very complex. The controls look like the Apollo cockpit. The spray bar has sections that fold up or down depending on how wide he wants/needs to spray. It also raises and lowers as well as shuttling left and right. There are about 30 nozzles that are independently operated Then he has to spray the right amount/thickness. That’s computerized , kind of. it adjusts for his speed. He has to maintain it. Work on it and fix it. As he is usually hours away from his shop and mechanics. He makes it look easy. But 30 years of experience can do that.
