Hello Cadre. Saturday is going ok. One bit of disappointment I have to report though. Is the gentleman that I ordered the Leader razor from. Unfortunately sent me the wrong razor. When I opened it up. I found a totally different razor. Though it is very nice. NOS in the box it's a 3/8ths. And not my cup of tea. The seller responded already to my email. And things are going to be fine. Upstanding guy. I expect no problems other than the delay in getting the correct razor.
So instead of honing up two razors. I only had the Hibbard Spencer "Our Very Best" that needed attention. This is a small razor. Maybe a 1/2 inch plus a smidge more. In fair shape. But I can see where it's been polished up and has some faint pitting. But I suspected it had been "prettied up". And the sub $10 I paid for it is still fair. I have several hardware company razors. As well as barber supply razors. All are very nice razors. This I am certain will be as well. Tonight's shave will tell the tale. If I have done my part on the hones. So I still will have the Leader razor. And the Victory Flak Bait soap to look forward to. As well as all you guy's posts and vid's. Life is good.
