Fluffy's Curmudgeon Corner

Well my ass is officially kicked. Ran a jackhammer for about an hour. Busted up some curb and gutter. Then mixed 23 bags of sakrete. That’s literally 2 bags short of a Ton. 😱. 96 degrees here. Fluffy is not a happy camper. Should have listened to my mom and picked a MOS that could get me a easy job. Not much need for shooting tanks and people in civilian life.
Oh well don’t need to spend money on a gym membership.

Not fun at all and I know from experience having done at least that many bags if not a few more I think closer to 30. I was patching a driveway that my father-in-law allowed some guys to cut through to run some piping. Nothing but a wheelbarrow and a hoe to mix it. Did you at least have a mixer handy?

Yea we use a mixer. But still have hoss the bags around. I’m too old fat and lazy for this kind of stuff. The young punk that usually does this. Took off. I’m twice his age. He’s as soft as a marshmallow. GEN X=spoiled That’s ok. Paybacks🤔
I understand completely as I'm too old and fat to be playing with them too but I'm always mixing some up for something. Still have two bags left from the last time I played games with that stuff out here in the shop where I'm roasting coffee at the moment. Make sure you let us know about the payback LOL

Decent day today. Got to sleep in a bit. Then decided to tackle the lawn mowing. Once again the heat was my enemy. But I conquered the adversity. Once the wife got home. I then had the fun of pulling the other front wheel off to have that tire swapped out. At least this time none of the lug nuts broke. So it was trouble free. On a positive note. The trip allowed me to stop by Tractor Supply. Picked up a horse grooming sponge to try out. In my shave routine. I can say although a subtle change. It does make the shave more efficient. So this may become part of my routine.
The thickness of the sponge. Makes for quick and easy wiping of the razor.
Hope everyone had a good Saturday.

Hey guys. Sorry for the long absence. Life happens and things got hectic. I'll try to post up more regularly. Lots of exciting things happening shave and shower wise around here. Too much to type up. So prolly gonna do a video and fill everybody in.
Have gone simple the last week of shaves. A single set up for the last remnants of the CBL Insurgent. The Alleghany Instruments Razor in it's new scales. Is a capable faithful execution of a finely crafted American New York razor.
Been lurking here. And will try to contribute more. Hope you are all having a good Sunday665BE334-8B52-4D96-AE67-BE8D9AA56CAF.jpeg
