First use of the Aussie soap. It's nice. Of course too early to really tell. But I'm glad I got it. As I have so few soaps.....(sarcasm)
Is everyone ready for Friday? I am.

Tabac soap and aftershave.
Been using the Prosperity razor for the last bunch of shaves. Because after each one, I thought to myself. “That is not the best edge it can take/hold.
Tonight it finally passed my rigorous test. And the Translucent Arkansas takes the blue ribbon. Into the cigar box it goes. Till next time it gets the call.
Hope you all made it through Tuesday in good nick.

Williams Wednesday

Wade & Butcher Celebrated Hollow Ground
Vintage Williams Shave Soap
Fluffy Industries Maxi Mini Cashmere
Master Barber Spice AS

Figured I should use a “W” razor so the Celebrated W & B got pressed into service.
I can confirm that vintage Williams is a good soap. But for the lack of scent you would think it’s a new small batch handmade fancy soap. I would say it’s dang close to my beloved Tabac in performance. Unfortunately I have to refrain from granting it “skippy” status. As the lack of scent is a negative. Futures Wednesday’s will likely see me adding some scent to my Williams.
We’ve turned the corner. Weekend is in sight. Let’s hope the last furlong is uneventful.

Tabac squared=exponential goodness.

Good shaves don’t necessarily have to be expensive. A $6 boar knot, a $4 Chi Comm razor and some German drug store soap and aftershave all punch above their weight.
Have a good Wednesday guys.
