Down in the Heart of Texas!

Hey maybe he already had the thought if it. or maybe not. But a while ago Chris put up a post somewhere in which guys made suggestions for soap scents. I suggested AV.
But that would be a nice scent to shave with. IMHO.
I think that would be a lovely scent as well. I'll try digging it up a little later tonight.

I won’t go into a ton of detail here on my journal because I was able to do a video today. I will spare y’all from having to read a full review and then possibly watch the exact same thing!

I have a Cadre Friday today so a quick shave and the family and I are heading to El Paso to visit my family for the long weekend! Although it was a quick shave it sure was an enjoyable one! AA Bay Rum is a wonderful scent and PAA CK-6 is a fantastic base.
Have a good one Cadre!

Been a while since I posted my journal, but I have been shaving everyday except Monday. Been a little busy visiting family and then trying to get caught up on stuff at home. Used a new to me item today in the soap/splash and blade. The Feather blade in the Fatboy is a great combo and I will use it a few more times to see if it will replace my GSB’s in the Fatboy. Thanks for the suggestion @BarberDave!
The soap and aftershave are a great scent. Perfect for cooler weather in my opinion. Off the puck I get the leather, but once lathered I start to get some spices. It is almost like a darker version of an apple pie. I’m curious if that is the tobacco flower and cedar mixed together. Performance is what you would expect of DG’s Milksteak base.
Thanks for reading Cadre!
