Good Shave Doug!

PolSilver Super Iridiums are one of my favorite blades. They perform very well for me.

Great shave this morning as usual. Great lather. Two passes. BBS. The only issue is some minor irritation on my neck. Getting an irritation free neck is a goal for me. I will get there some day.

Gear
The MTO is an underappreciated razor. It is the same razor as the Weishi 9306 just re-branded. It shaves very similarly to the 1960's Super Speed that it was cloned from. If you are looking for an inexpensive TTO definitely take a look. It is solidly built and it performs well.

The soap ring started to break up today. As I finished loading a large chunk of soap came loose from the tub. I pressed it back into place, but this is further proof that the Latha Oceana is fading fast. Will it make it to shave #70?

Other Thoughts
Happy Wednesday.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

Just DFS+ today. The lather was thick and rich today. My face is great, but my neck is irritated more than usual. I also got a couple of pin-pricks. It was a decent shave, but I was not on the ball this morning.

Gear
The Fatip Piccolo is a favorite of mine. Normally I get good results from it, but today was just an off shaving day I guess. That, or it just doesn't like GSBs.

Other Thoughts
Fire drills kinda suck when you are on the fifth floor of a building.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

Don't fret...I can't figure my neck out either.

Thanks! It does help to know that I am in good company with my problem area.

One of these days I'll figure out how to shave my neck in an efficient and effective manner.
Good Shave Doug!

DFS on my cheeks and CCS on my neck. The lather was good and the soap is almost gone. However, there was no irritation today.

Gear
The Slim + GSB is a good combo.

Other Thoughts
Almost gone.

Shave Quality
It was hard getting the soap to lather today. The remaining crescent of soap broke apart and I ended up chasing it around the tub. The lather was less than stellar due to this. I maybe could have gotten one more shave out of it, but the chunks fought me so the soap was retired. For the sake of numbers, I will say it was 68 shaves to the tub. The General waded through the lather with ease and gave me an irritation-less DFS+. There was no alum feedback. Even though the lather tried to sink the shave, it was a good note on which to end the tub.

Gear
As long as it loads correctly, the Latha is really good soap. I still don't know what box to put it in though.

Other Thoughts
The empty tub weighs 42 grams. That means that the soap puck weighed 110 grams. Divide that buy 68 shaves means my usage was about 1.62 grams per shave. We will see if I can get that up closer to 2 grams on future 3017s.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.
