Shave Quality
Three passes today, but went chin to ear on my neck during the second pass. My neck is DFS- while my face is BBS-. The lather was great, as usual, and the doughnut hole reappeared today. I may be on the home stretch with this 3017.

Gear
Slims are great shavers.

Other Thoughts
This too shall pass.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

Two passes for BBS- today. The lather was its usual greatness. The Nacet paired well with the Fatboy. It has been a good day for faceturbation.

Gear
An excellent razor and an excellent blade.

Other Thoughts
I opened up a bit hole in the bottom of the tub today which is just going to get bigger and bigger. The B&M Latha has been a joy to 3017. We shall see how long it holds out.

Load it like there is no tomorrow!

Good stuff Doug. I was very behind but all caught up now. I see the Oceana is still going.

Shave Quality
Another stellar lather for another two pass BBS. And I still love the scent. I wish every shave were like the last three shaves that I have had. The two with the General were superb and the Merkur 42c was definitely up to the challenge today. This is also one of the most irritation free days that I have had in a long time. I am paying more attention to how I shave my neck. It may be a Monday, but at least I got it started with a killer shave.

Gear
I love my razors. I love my soap.

Other Thoughts
I forgot to weigh the tub again, but as you can see from the picture above the soap is dying. I think I can probably kill it in another handful of shaves. I guesstimate that it will last about another week.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

I love the Ice Sport! And that soap should be dead by the end of the week I think.

First time with a PolSilver.

Shave Quality
The lather was a bit thinner today than usual, but was still excellent. My two passes went well, except for one small stroke where I went too steep and scraped my neck a bit. The result wasn't as bad as it could have been, only two tiny spots of red that closed up on their own. My first go-round with a PolSilver was a decent shave.

Gear
Maggard V2 OC - A medium aggressive head which I mounted on a long and heavy handle. It can bite, but it mostly just gives great shaves.
PolSilver SI - This is a decent blade for my face. Astra SP and Parker are better for me, but this is one that I can definitely use.
B&M Latha - I weighed the tub after this morning's shave. It was 50 grams on the nose. Assuming the tub weighs 39 grams, I have 11 grams of soap remaining. This means I should have around 5-6 shaves left. Maybe I can finish it faster.

Other Thoughts
I need to get better about taking SOTD pictures.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

11 grams of soap and you think you have five or six shaves left? Come on man...

11 grams of soap and you think you have five or six shaves left? Come on man...

I am just estimating conservatively. It will probably take less since I am using my Omega 49 boar and loading for a solid minute for each shave. It is going to die quickly.

Good shave Doug, even with the thinner lather today!

It’ll probably be a bitter sweet moment when the Latha is finally gone.
