Two passes for DFS+. The Personna Injector blade might be starting to go south on this one. The lather was great, as usual.

Gear
The Supply razor is a wonderful shaver. It is heavy and efficient. If you don't own one, you should definitely get one.

Last night I pressed the soap down into the bottom of the tub. It filled in the doughnut hole and made it much easier to load this morning. Hopefully it will go more quickly now.

Other Thoughts
It has been a good weekend so far.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

Omega definitely makes excellent boar brushes. I've come to prefer their larger brushes over the Semogues (which are excellent brushes as well!). As a matter of fact, you may have just motivated me to call up the Omega 48 for tomorrow.

A couple of pics of the Supply Single Edge

The medium plate is my favorite so far, but the other two are nice also. This is a very well made razor.

I am really getting used to just about, not quite BBS in two passes. The razor just skated over the lather today, and the alum didn't have much at all to say afterwards. It may get boring using the same products day-in and day-out, but getting a smooth and soft face every day certainly isn't.

Gear
The whole team really did its job on my face today. Shaves like this really make me happy.

Other Thoughts
Weighed the tub again last night. 76 grams. I think the Omega is doing its job on the puck.

Nothing much to report on the homefront. Last week sucked at work. I hope this week is better. Other than that there isn't much to report right now. Life is quiet and good.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

Didn’t know SEs also came with some adjustability. Neat! SEs are the one part of traditional shaving I have avoided to date. Don’t need that rabbit hole!

Some nice looking razors. I've not heard of the Supply Single Edge; it looks cool.

The Supply SE is a newer product on the market. It has only been around for a couple of years. This razor was a Kickstarter, but is now up for sale on their web site. I really like it. Like all Injectors it is easy to use and really wants to skate across the face. The only complaint is that the 3 plates aren't all that aggressive. So, as long as you like a mild shaver, it is definitely worth a look.

Today's razor was the Tech-like Star 100. It would have been a better shave if not for the second pass. I was feeling a time crunch, so I went a little faster than I should have and I got my angle off. The extra irritation that this caused did not last long, however, and I am my usual soft and smooth self. The alum gave a bit of feedback, but that was expected. The Latha does have some nice emollient properties. I loaded it with a wetter brush today. It made so much lather that my copper shave mug overflowed.

Gear
When I say the Star is Tech-like, I mean it. It is very close in performance to a Pre-War Tech. It is fairly mild, but can get irritating if misused.

I think I am going to miss the Latha when it is gone. It leaves my face feeling great.

Other Thoughts
Leverage is no longer on Netflix. This bothers me. Since it is also not a part of Prime Streaming, I am going to have to buy the DVDs. Oh well, it is a small price to pay to have access to one of my most favorite TV shows.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

As the streaming services jockey for position...our favorite shows get moved around. I am finding that some of the things I want to watch are moving from Netflix to Hulu or something like that. I too have Netflix and Prime and I find that I can get most of the shows I want with these two...but there are some that end up being elsewhere. I don't even own a DVD or Blu ray player anymore...is that weird or what?

Nice shave Doug. Digging the star razor. I'm sensing a consistent theme in all your shaves but can't quite put my finger on it.......

Good stuff Doug!

All this streaming service stuff is ridiculous. Shows switching around, everyone having “premium” content, stuff that used to be free or included now you need to pay more for...yep, ridiculous.
