Shave 2 with the Proline was great. My face felt really great afterwards. Almost BBS in two passes with great lather.

Gear
The Speick is great soap. The aftershave is great too.

Burberry for Men is a favorite.

Other Thoughts
Watching The Cassandra Crossing (1977) today. It is a horrible movie. I don't recommend it.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

Missed a spot

The shave was near BBS all over with no real residual irritation. I have been adding more water to the brush as I face lather and that has been helping the lather be less sticky and more slick. Good stuff. Unfortunately I somehow missed a couple of whiskers under my left nostril and it is bugging me. I am sure I hit that area, but I guess I didn't get the right angle or something. Oh well, tomorrow is another shave.

Gear
The Speick is great soap. The aftershave is great too. I think I may like it more than the SV that I was using at the end of August.

The SV brush is very nice. I am glad that I own this piece of TSC shaving history. For that, and the story of Dave versus the Department of Fish and Wildlife, it is worth the price. It is a treasure that I will always cherish. Also, it is one of the best looking brushes that I own. next to my Sorrentino brushes. However, I have a dirty secret that I feel I should get off my chest. I like shaving with my synthetic brushes more. Maybe I will feel differently down the road. We will see.

Zaharoff Signature Pour Homme is a total winner of a fragrance. This is one that every fraghead on the TSC needs to get a sample of. If you go to the Zaharoff website, you can order a free sample. It is a win-win situation. Try it!!

Other Thoughts
The estimate for the new countertops came in. (We met with the guy on Friday.) It is a fair bit lower than we were worried it would be. This should be great.

Love my synths as well. Badgers sure take the cake for glam though!

George Zaharoff is a great (and funny) guy! Glad you’re enjoying the frag!

Smooth and smelling good

Shave Quality
BBS in two. Not too much feedback from the alum block. A tiny bit of residual tenderness which didn't last too long. The lather was good. I miss my lather bowl.

Gear
You can't beat the classics, and Speick is a classic. This one is a keeper, but next time I will buy a few sticks and grate them pucks.

The second shave is always better than the first when it comes to Injector blades. (This is often true of DE blades as well.) This vintage Platinum Chrome blade did really good on my face today.

Authenticity Perfumes has a good line of products. They are affordable and long lasting. I am really enjoying my scent of the day from them.

Other Thoughts
GameMastering my first online RPG game ever tonight on Roll20.net. These online tabletop apps are neat. We will see how well this one works for me. I really, really, really, really... really,really... really miss gaming face to face. I can't wait for the day that I can roll physical dice with my friends again.

Good stuff all around

Shave Quality
Really good shave today, but not quite BBS. There are a couple of spots on my neck that could use a tiny bit of touch-up. The lather was great. I loaded heavy into the bowl from @jbreakfield and whipped up some good suds. My face is feeling great. The Speick works well on my skin.

Gear
Great hardware lineup today. The JaysClays bowl is excellent, but will take some getting used to since it is so much narrower than the Fine lather bowl that I normally use. I like it very much. The beautiful blue color is very soothing. The Injector blade is still working well.

Authenticity Perfumes has another winner. I am really enjoying my scent of the day from them, again. This one is more casual than yesterday's fragrance.

Other Thoughts
Last night's game was fun, but all we did was finish up character creation. Next week, we play!

Tell me about your avatar, what is it, why you chose it, just wondering.
It is something I made using an online generator back around 2003 or so. It was meant to be a sort of cartoon-y representation of me.

It is probably time to find a new one.
