The shaves were good this weekend. It is very nice having a smooth, soft face every day. There is a little residual irritation this morning, but I think it won't hang around too long.

Shave Quality
Except for the nick on my neck it would have been a really great shave. The lather was excellent and everything was going well until I got to my neck. Ouch.

Gear
The Gillette NEW is a nice razor. It can definitely bite, however.

Other Thoughts
It would be nice if people who change meeting times would send out a note about it, especially when moving them to an earlier time.

Today's shave was a magical BBS-. The razor glided over my face while making short work of the stubble. Very satisfying.

Gear
The Neillte 400 is a really efficient bakelite razor. I find it to be a very comfortable shaver.

Other Thoughts
Another day, another $0.60 on the dollar...

How would you compare the lather of this soap against other soaps?
 
It is just as good as other soaps that I have used. It doesn't have as much of the skin conditioning that many of the artisan soaps do, but it is really good.

The lather today was just about perfect. There were times that I couldn't feel the blade in the razor. It was a very nice BBS start to my day and a good shave to end the work week.

I will be working from home for the next two weeks. Not sure how I feel about it.

The shaves were close and smooth, but left my face roughed up. I could probably use a day to let my face recover. We'll see how I feel tomorrow.

Overview
A very good shave for a work from home Monday.

Shave Quality
The Piccolo did reopen some of the nicks from Saturday, but only just barely. There were only two tiny spots of red. Other than that the shave was BBS and really, really great.

Gear
@beginish and I are in total agreement on LEA soap. I love the Classic puck. It lathers easily. With the right amount of water it is off the charts slick. It smells great. After the shave it leaves my face feeling smooth and soft. Definitely a winner in my book.

Other Thoughts
Finding it hard to concentrate while working from home, but I will get into a groove with it soon.
