The Hawk is a little too light for my tastes. It is a great razor, but it is easy to press too hard with it.

Two thoughts: 1) Have you tried the Hawk head with a heavier handle?
2) RR is coming out with a SS Hawk.

A nice Monday shave.

Shave Quality
After scraping my neck yesterday I decided to give myself a nice, easy shave today, so out came the 34c with a GSB. Great combination. It was an easy two pass BBS. The lather continues to be excellent.

Gear
The 34c will always be a favorite. It just works.

Other Thoughts
You should probably skip the Netflix Dracula series. It is not good.

Shave Quality
My shaves right now are so good that they are getting boring. It is just great performance from the LEA Classic day in and day out. Got myself nicely to BBS this morning.

Gear
The LEA Classic is going to stick around. I will be buying more of it at some point.

Other Thoughts
There are a ton of great music acts coming to Denver this year. I currently have tickets to 4 concerts:

• Gogol Bordello in May
• Motely Crue/Def Leopard/Poison/Joan Jett in August
• Judas Priest with Sabaton in October
• They Might Be Giants in October

I want to get tickets to a few more, but I have already spent too much on concert tickets for the year. I guess I have to miss seeing Alice Cooper.

A little rough today.

Shave Quality
Perhaps I spoke too soon. Today's shave was a bit rough around my mouth on the right side. The results are full-on BBS, and I mean almost glass smooth. I think that I buffed a little too hard in the areas where there is irritation. Otherwise it was a killer shave.

Gear
The Omega S-Brush is okay. It is my least favorite synthetic knot.

Other Thoughts
So many game ideas so little time.

Today's shave was a rough one. The DOC Ascension is an aggressive razor. It gave me a great shave tough. Once I got past the post-shave irritation I was left with a glassy smooth face. Happy Friday.

Gear
The PAA DOC Ascension is a great piece of hardware, but it does take a deft touch.
