I think the same thing. (RPG)
Never been to a gaming convention. Been to Trek conventions. The acronym that comes to mind at them is SNAFU but in a good way.
Where else can you sign up for and attend a Klingon language class.

Shave Quality
The shave was good today. I put too much water into the lather. The shave was slick, but the lather was thin. I still got wonderful results. The blade felt like it was tugging today, which made the shave less comfortable. Perhaps ~3 weeks is what I can expect out of a Treet Black.

Gear
The blade was tuggy, so I gave it a few laps on one of my Goodrich DE hones. We will see how it shaves in the morning.

Other Thoughts
Anxiety sucks.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my journal. I hope you have a great day and stellar shaves, Cadre.

I had anxiety to the point of a panic attack once. It was at the Grand Canyon. My sons were young, about 12 & 16 at the time. The 16 y.o., feeling his oats, would walk too close to the edge, and my wife and I could not persuade him not to do so. Later that evening in our hotel room, after a day of feeling anxious about this, the panic set in. I had been reading a souvenir shop book chronicling all known deaths at the Canyon. WTHeck was I thinking?! Sheri and The Boys planned to get up the next morning to watch the Canyon sunrise and I could not stop worrying about our teenager. After tossing and turning for hours in bed, I went out to the car for a nap to try and not disturb her. I went to breakfast shortly after they got up, as anxious as I've ever been. They all returned in one piece. I later realized that my anxiety had morphed into sheer panic. Anxiety does suck, Doug, but it eventually will pass.

Moral of the Story: be careful what you read on vacation!

Shave Quality
The shave was a bit rough today since I honed the blade yesterday. It did leave me full-on BBS, however. The lather was great. No complaints here, just a tiny bit of lasting razor burn.

Gear
The Goodrich DE hone did the trick. It definitely improved the edge on the Treet Black. I may have over-honed the blade, however. We will see if the roughness continues tomorrow.

The Fougère Imperiale is good, but very (and I mean very) Earthy. It brought back some interesting memories until it diffused a bit. Of the 4 fougères that I purchased from @Spider, this one is my least favorite but I am still really enjoying the scent. It is a departure from the ordinary. All 4 fougères are really great. These frags were a great purchase.

Other Thoughts
I hope I get the chance to light up a pipe tonight since it is IPSD. We will see.

I have a new manager at work. He is pushing me in the right direction, but it is against the current of the rest of the organization. It is going to be a stressful couple of weeks until he settles in and I get used to him.

Few trips to the smoking lounge with him should fix that right up

Shave Quality
Today's shave was smoother than yesterday's, however it was still a bit rough. The blade is still cutting well, but it isn't as smooth as pre-hone. The lather was thin but slick today. It would have made for a great straight shave. There was some alum feedback, but not much. Overall it was a really great BBS-.

Gear
All good.

Other Thoughts
I was getting settled into a routine. Now I have to change it once again.

A quick Saturday shave.

Shave Quality
Today's shave was DFS+. There was absolutely nothing wrong with today's lather and results. Good stuff all around.

Gear
The blade is still going strong, but isn't cutting quite as efficiently as it did when new. I am still enjoying the shaves.

Other Thoughts
Watching The Hunters on Prime. It is a good show.
