300-400 shave off MdC?! Holy smokes!
Oh yeah, folks who keep track of that stuff easily go a year with their tub.... That leads to the argument that it is still a bargain soap. Compare $70 over a year, to a $20 soap that lasts 2 months.....
Where do you get yours and what kind of deal?
Good video Josh! And I think the Permasharp blades are one of the most underrated blades out there. It's an exceptional blade in my opinion.
Thanks Don! if you haven't tried the blue and white pack Super Max Platinum Plus's, they're almost as good as the Perma Sharps. For me, they're on par with Gillette Nacet's. (loving the new quote tool on here...)
Nope $30 now thereThanks Dave!
I think I just got mine off of WCS or Maggard. It was, at most, $19 or $20 IIRC.
Nope $30 now there
Good show Josh! I just noticed a little green dot on your avatar that shows you’re online! Another discovery in my bleary eyed state.
I don't subscribe to the thought that certain scents are only for certain seasons. I have been known to wear heavy scents in the summer at time. After all, the scent is for me and no one else. That being said I will make sure I am not too heavy to offend others. That being said...picking a seasonal scent...King of Oud is definitely up their! I just shaved with it the other day and it's just a fabulous scent! CBL Premium Soap in Dragon's Blood/Ghost Dragon's Blood is up there too. I am also a big fan of Foxville by Oz Shaving. The scent definitely reminds me of cold weather. But my all time favorite (at least in the scent department) would have to be...and you mentioned it...Fine Accoutrements Santal Absolute/Art of Shaving Sandalwood. I love this scent and if I am shaving with a soap I go for one of my pucks of the old tallow version of AoS Sandalwood.
Thanks for the video Josh...excellent as always!
I remember the 80’s when young men would come to the office emitting powerful clouds of Polo and Drakkar Noir heavily applied in a smallish office. You could actually see the interaction of the scents!
Good video Josh. Lots of random little nuggets of info in there, lol.
