Nice impressions of the Karve Josh. I agree with the knurling...it's a bit shallow...but surprisingly grippy!

Thanks for the continued videos. Sadly I don't think any of the 3 new scents are going to be to my liking. I am starting to realize I am not a big fan of the darker scents.

I had a healthy dose of skepticism at first, but quickly came around to it by the 2nd pass. Very sure handed grip. The razor is nice, i'm looking forward to the rest of the shaves I get with it. Going with the C plate tomorrow along with a fresh Feather blade...I haven't used one of those in over a year, so should be very interesting.

yeah, i wasn't sure about them either, though I have been wanting to try out Darkfall for a while now. It's pretty birch tar heavy, surprisingly so, and with the other notes it comes across very "cedar" like, which is not one of my favorite scents. (though I love the smell of freshly made cedar furniture; I just don't want to smell like it) I was hoping that Harmony was a dark rose scent, but when I saw that it was an incense based scent, it was a hard no from me. The only time I enjoy that smell is when I walk into a head shop. LOL

Great shave Josh. Was hoping it'sup your alley since you already ordered. Which plates did you ordered?

Thanks again so much for letting me test it out Dave! I ordered the C and D plates. I almost ordered the B plate, but glad I didn't as the C plate was almost too mild...I say almost, because I used a very smooth blade. Tomorrow I'm going with the grand-daddy of sharp blades with a new Feather. If it's still smooth, that's a very good thing. I'm planning on doing the same with the D and F plates. Smooth blade first, then the Feather.

Oh boy! Also the Karve razor.... I'll leave it at that. Also this PIF is turning out to be AMAZING!

Good shave. Glad you’re enjoying the Karve!

But, oh dang...chance at epic razor!

I keep thinking it would be nice to have that blade gap wiki on the site somewhere. But then I remember that you can't determine aggressiveness from just the blade gap so it could be deceptive. So I guess you can ignore this whole comment. ?

It's the .68mm blade gap version...there was no option when I went to buy.
I think they're still catching up with orders of the new .84 gap base and it may even sell seperate as I haven't checked. I know Chris, gearnoir has the next plate gap in his sights.
