Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Thanks all for the well wishes on my little man. I appreciate it.

Yesterday's shave

Razor: Brass prototype razor
Blade: Shark Stainless (1)
Soap/cream: Vintage Old Spice
Brush: TSC Member Brush
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Old Spice aftershave, cologne, and Talcum

The shave was all around awesome. Loved the Old Spice experience. The razor performed well. But working out some stuff with Dave on KY. He wants it back and obviously with me not planning on using it, it should go where it will be used.

We had a nice family birthday party. Dinosaurs where the theme. Was a great time for sure!

Today
Razor: Razorock Game Changer
Blade: Shark Stainless (2)
Soap/cream: B&M Diamond
Brush: Razorock Beehive
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Chiseled Face Trade Winds

Well I used the sample that SteveChuckFrank sent me. Geez this just confirmed again why I don't buy B&M products. They stink. It's a shame really because the performance is always good I just don't like the scents. Smelled like rotten leather dirt to me. Best way to describe it lol.

Took the family to the aquarium today. Connor loved it by the way. It was part of his present. He got to feed a bunch of animals and handle some as well. Great time as a family.

Thanks for working with me Chad and we'll probably do a pass around with it in the near future. Glad you had some good family time.

Glad everyone is feeling better! I haven’t been to an aquarium in ages! They are always so fun.

We always enjoy this aquarium. The worst part though is you must go through the gift shop to exit the aquarium. SO you know forced fits by the kids after a fun day out. But I won't pay $20 for a stuffed animal.

It definitely doesn’t smell like a baseball field that’s for sure!

I have had way to many misses with B&M. Thanks for sending me a sample though.

Gotta love a vintage old spice shave.

OH YEA!

Razor: Timeless .68
Blade: Assured $1 (1)
Soap/cream: Chad’s Clown Puke
Brush: Razorock Plissoft
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Chiseled Face Trade Winds

Well today I did a bad blade shave and well it was bad. These blades suck! I got three decent cuts and am done with these blades. While the $1 razor isn’t half bad the blades are horrible. I did enjoy the lather I got with my clown puke soap. The scent today was coconut, banana, spice, and menthol. What a crazy scent combo but that is expected when you blend all your soap samples together.

Will 2019 ever slow down. It is just one fire after another at work. I came into the office to 200 emails all because I took Friday off. So playing catchup. Doesn’t help that I am off tomorrow because the adoption is going through for my brother in law, who is adopting the daughter of his wife, so a celebration tomorrow at the courthouse, it has been two years in the making. Also with the looming storm getting ready to hit tomorrow and Wednesday where we are being told to get ready measure with yard sticks, UGH! I am DONE with winter. I need a vacation. That is all. Have a good one cadre.

Lots on your plate there Chad. Hope you catch a breather there soon!

Not to rub it in, but we were at 60 degrees here today in South Jersey too ?

What a great thing to celebrate. Enjoy and be careful of the snow. Working today in a t-shirt in 60's

Boy I wish it was that warm. This storm is a fast mover supposed to hit full swing this evening into tomorrow now.

Razor: Razorock Game Changer .84
Blade: Shark Stainless (3)
Soap/cream: PannaCrema Nuavia Verde
Brush: Paladin PK47
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Chiseled Face Trade Winds

Well up early today but had a nice shave this morning. No time for a bad blade review due to the time we had to leave to make it downtown but more on that later. I chose the Nuavia Verde today as it has been awhile and I absolutely love this soap and scent. It is wonderful! Always performs wonderfully. I would like to try the Negra eventually. The Shark delivered a perfect shave with the GC and that is all I can ask for.

Up early today and had to to head downtown for my brother in-law and sister in-law's court hearing. Where he is adopting her daughter. It is a long ordeal and not really relevant to here, but let's just say it is the best thing for them, and I am so happy that the adoption finally went through. Thankfully the storm chose not to hit in the morning but instead this evening so the drive downtown was not bad at all. We then went out for a nice celebratory breakfast where I had some delicious Banana Pecan pancakes. Well catching up on the site right now so have a good day cadre!

SNOWMAGGEDON!!!! It is here and in full force! I am literally snowed in. Chains are required on the main road outside my neighborhood and work has canceled. Well the message said if you can work from home please do so. So I am working from home. And after the crazy day yesterday I have no choice I am way behind.

So a quick shower and no shave this morning. Also schools are cancelled here as well. I can't remember the last time that happened. Lucky kids! What makes this storm so bad is the snow drifts. The plows just can't keep up.

So I have my sweat pants on, a full cup of coffee, and am working in my office in the basement with the space heater running.

Stay warm Cadre.

I had plans to get to the post office today but that will need to wait until tomorrow most likely.
