Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Missed the flight guys. Boarding in 10 min now to go to Charlotte, then to Rochester. Going to be a long day
18 years ago (damn thats a long time ago) my mom&dad and my wife and kids all flew to Florida to go to disney world. We had a connection at Dallas Ft Worth that seemed like ti should be easy. The only real problem we had was the terminal is a horseshoe shaped building and our landing flight was on one end with the connecting on the other...we litterally had to travel the furthest possible distance in the shortest amount of time conceivable. We decided we would put the hustle on and make use of the moving walkways while also jogging. at the midway point the moving walkway ended abruptly and my mom TOTALLY missed the transition. She flew at least 20 feet before coming to a skidding stop. We all turned to help her up (she was definitely a little dinged up) be she waved us off, like a scene from some war movie she was lying on the ground waving us off saying "go, go ...leave me" My dad stayed behind but my wife and I kept moving. We reached the gate with a few seconds to spare, as we began to explain what had happened a golf cart thing came barreling through the crowed to the gate...on the back was my mom with a bag of ice on her ankle. Not only had some maintenance guy found my mom in the crumpled pile she landed in, he scooped her up, got her ice and delivered her to the gate. It was quite the scene.

Too bad about the flight, at least you started the day with a good shave. ...oh wait, no you didn't.

Man, there’s some Monday troubles for ya! Hang in there Chad!

And great read Chris, lol, I’m dying laughing!?

Sorry not responding individually. Too behind right now. What I will say is thanks for the Laugh Chris. I'll explain what happened tomorrow on the shave video. Also ran to two drugstores neither had DE blades. So sadly this is happening.

You are all comedians. I am heading into the training room soon. So I will update my shave here in a little bit! Let's just say definitely not as good as an *SE* would get me.

I thought I felt a shift in the time space continuum last night.

Next video by KJ. How fast can I shave with a Mach III......
Absolutely Not! LOL.

Mach 3 is what I used right before I switch to DE. Hated it, tore up my neck something fierce. A few years ago, I decided to give it another shot, thinking that now that my shaving technique is better, and I'm using better products, maybe it'd give me a good shave. First shave with it irritated my neck and made it totally red. I've tried a few modern carts since then, Schick, Harry's, and a coupe others. Always get bad results from them. I'll use a 2 bladed Atra or Track II (preferred) if I'm traveling, and that is all I will use for a Cart razor.

You are all great! I would much prefer to have been using the Gillette Guard which is what I usually travel with, but the Mach 3 will do for now.

Mach III was what I used before de's also. I got decent results for a couple or few shaves til the lube strip was gone then downhill. So glad I switched and am saving money for almost 10 years now.

Razor: Gillette Mach III
Blade: Gillette Mach III Cart (1)
Soap/cream: Palmolive Shave Stick (tallow)
Brush: Razorock Synthetic
Aftershave1: Nautica Blue Balm
Cologne: Zoologist Dragonfly

Well today's shave actually went a little better than expected. I'm not switching to a Mach 3 anytime soon but I was very happy with the results. I did get a little irritation on my neck but I wasn't completely lit up like I used to be. So clearly prep plays a role in everything. I guess we will see how thing progress on this trip. But for day 1 not so bad. I'm not *Dolphin Smooth* but I am DFS.

Homefront:
Talking to Megan I guess Connor really missed me last night and wanted to know why I wasn't reading him a good night story. But yesterday was his first day back to school and Megan did send me some pictures and it seems he had a great first day. The rain is crazy here today. We don't get storms like this back home. In training all day. Going to be a long one!
