Well today was D-Day so to speak. Find out if the virus spread throughout the house. Now mind you I have been told that I have Omicron which is more transmissible. I add all this here not to spark debate because I still firmly believe that each person needs to make the best decision for them self, their children, etc when it comes to anything that they are putting into their body so I won't even entertain discussion as to what we have done. But for real world first hand knowledge I will tell you how it all happened. First our kids school is 100% masked, except when distancing in the cafeteria and eating, they even wear masks outside at recess. My wife and I wear our masks. Regardless of one's position on the shots I do firmly believe that when inside you should wear a mask. When outside if in a large group probably a good idea. But I also stand by that I have officiated over 100 football games since this pandemic started and have not caught this virus while outside. Anyways here's what happened.
I am vaccinated with two doses, and was eligible for the booster the week of Christmas, my plan was to get the booster right after Christmas. I caught covid instead. Once I knew I was sick and exhibiting symptoms I began isolation and got a test.
My wife has had all 3 shots. Her test today is Negative.
My son is 7 years old, we have not vaccinated him for corona virus. Today he tested positive. He is asymptomatic at this time.
My daughter is 4 years old, she is not eligible for vaccine at this time. Today she tested positive. She is asymptomatic at this time.
Now let us hope that Omicron can bring an end to the pandemic!
Still no shave. I am also currently no longer in isolation for above reason and I have passed day 5. According to new rules I am asked to wear a mask until day ten and to ensure no symptoms come back or new ones arise. If they do back to isolation.
So I am planning to shave and Georgia is coming!
