Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Just make sure the kids are nearby to run by every once in a while and jostle your elbow as you shave!

Razor: Razorock Game Changer .84
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Permasharp (6)
Soap/cream: Razorock Saturnia
Brush: AP Shave Gold Brush
Aftershave1: Lucky Tiger
Aftershave2: Razorock Saturnia
Talc: King Talc

This has been the setup since 7/1. And now I am left to decide if I want to continue using this soap or just toss it. The scent is okay, but it is not great. When water touches it the scent changes and I don't care for it. But once I apply the aftershave and it dries down I am fine. I know a razorock soap dies in about 30 shaves. So do I just tough it out or move on? Anyways today's shave was good and I am BBS. So all is good.

I am here, and just navigating this world. Honestly it is all starting to effect my morale. And I can see how it is effecting others I interact with. Everyone seems to be on edge, everyone is afraid to offend someone, and everyone is afraid to hurt or have hurt feelings. It's funny we get out of the house go camping and I am so much more relaxed. I get back home and the stress of life struggles just come back. Kids going back to school, increased corona numbers, personal family stuff with siblings, kids going bored out of their minds, working at home constantly and no end in sight, etc etc etc. Throw on top of all of that the football season is supposed to be starting soon. I am supposed to be attending evening clinics that ain't happening. Just frustrated.

Yea, these days are just wearing everyone down. Finding a new normal has been difficult with things rollercoastering up n down so much.

I hear you. Even getting to go to work I know that just sitting in my office all day and not interacting with people is really getting to me.

Try to keep your chin up, dude. Yeah, it's a rough time in our lives, but we'll come out the other side stronger.

My vote is toss the soap. I think we're too afraid of throwing things away. Or PIF it. Whichever.

That's the thing. In order for our building to be opened we need 14 days of decline in the city the building resides. ROFL that's not happening any time soon! HOWEVER a small limited amount of people can go in if they want. I have considered it but then quickly realize all i'd be doing is sitting on an open floor not interatcting with anyone.

Lol. No thanks, I'm trying to avoid adding to my collection.

Well another shave was had and I used the same setup just a different brush. The shave was good but still not digging the scent. Once water it hits it, the scent changes for the worse. Never experienced anything like this before. Anyone else have experience with this one?

My Graydog brush arrived today as well. I chose the 70/30 badger to boar brush. I haven't experience knot stink in a while but this one has it. I lathered up some palmolive cream and let it sit a few hours. Lost a couple of hairs but not much. Think I might do the Dawn/OxiClean treatment this evening we shall see. I am excited abaout this knot seems dense and soft. Can't wait to get those boar hairs to split.

Sorry for being negative yesterday. Just been one of those weeks. Have no fear another lazy friday. Thinking about running to the store and getting a Goya Flan for dessert tonight and might watch Hamlet on Disney+. Have a good day Cadre.

Not a fan of flan, I will pass, lol.
It is hard not to let things get you down sometimes during all this, we have all been there, stay strong.
Throw the soap away immediately! there are way too many good ones out there to use.
