Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

@dangerousdon A friend of mine teases his kids relentlessly..................I would too. After a season of soccer where his Step Daughters team didn't win a single game all year they went for ice cream. She wanted sprinkles on hers but he said, "Sorry sprinkles are for winners" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: I bought a big jar of sprinkles for her and said she was a winner for sticking it out and finishing even though a disappointing season. Her mom said now 4 years later she still has that jar of Sprinkles sitting on her shelf in her bedroom. 😎
I love stories like these!

Razor: Timeless .68
Blade: Zorrik Platinum (1)
Soap/cream: Stirling Varen
Brush: Stirling Finest
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Stirling Varen
Cologne: Stirling Varen

Well today I kicked off the Stirling theme week apparently a little early, but that's all good. I love Stirling and the products. Today was Varen. This has been a scent a long time in the making. It is a fern scent and I was hoping for something more similar too English Fern and this is one is actually stronger in the sweet grass scent which is not ideal for me. But thankfully once lathered the sweet grass dissipates and the other scents shine out. While not my favorite fern scent still a great scent and a good performing soap for sure.

Homefront:

Well the rains are still happening. But thankfully after church services I was able to get the front lawn mowed real quick before the rains started back up. Now just hoping that at some point during the week I can get the back lawn mowed before we head out to Disney. 6 more sleeps til the family vacations starts. Anyways hope you all have a great sunday.

Oh I know that feeling about getting the lawn mowed between raindrops! I am sure you will get it done though!

YESTERDAY:

Blade: Zorrik Platinum (2)
Soap/cream: Stirling Piacenza
Brush: Stirling Boar
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Stirling Piacenza

Great shave with a blade that earned 100 pack rating!

TODAY:

Razor: Timeless .68
Blade: Racer Super Stainless (1)
Soap/cream: Stirling Noir
Brush: Stirling Finest Fan
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Stirling Noir

Great shave today as far as soap and splash go! Really loving Stirling week. The overall shave today was good, but the blade left a lot to be desired. There's a video out there somewhere.

The stress of packing is starting to hit the wife and I, as packing for 4 is proving to be quite difficult. Also the thought of going through the airport with a stroller, two car seats, luggage, a 5 year old curious boy, and a potty training 2 year old. This is starting to give me anxiety. We will make it though. At work we are celebrating Memorial Week this week, as well as the memorial day next week obviously. We have alot of events going on. I will add pictures of the different things as we do them. Today we are going to put up 100 full size flags on the property that will stay up through end of next week. Hoping this turns out well. Also tomorrow I am taking the day off because Connor is doing his end of school year program called the 3 Piggy Opera. Google it, this is going to be adorable.

Have a good day Cadre.

Better you than me!! That relief when your butt finally hits the plane seat! Reminds me of one year I was taking my daughter back to Oregon for Thanksgiving. She was pretty little then. The parking at the airport was bad, starting our delay. Then the lines in security. As soon as we got through the line I took off as fast as I could without tying my shoes, carrying our bags, her and the car seat. Got to the gate to find nobody left in line to board the plane and thought we had barely made it. I went to give our tickets and learned they hadn't even started boarding yet. Whew!

Razor: Parker Variant
Blade: Racer Super Stainless (2)
Soap/cream: Stirling Haverford
Brush: Stirling Finest Marble
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Stirling Haverford

Well up and at em. Had a nice shave with Haverford. But man this lather will stain stuff with the vanilla. But it is so nice and I love the scent! The overall shave was good though and I had a nice DFS+ result.

Well this morning Megan had to head into work for the kindergarten graduation at her school. Which meant she couldn't go to Connor's end of school program. She was pretty upset by that but thankfully this shouldn't be a problem going forward since she'll be at the same school. Connor's program was great and he learned so much this year. Anyways I'm Mr. Mom with both kids so won't be on much til later. Have a great day cadre

I’m all for “graduation” after preschool before regular school and then of course high school and numerous collegiate ones. But the kids graduating after every grade and now my 2nd grader has gotten his third yearbook already and he’s not even 10 years old yet there seems to be an issue with out public instruction setup!

Razor: Timeless .68
Blade: Racer Platinum (1)
Soap/cream: Stirling Green
Brush: Stirling Kong
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Stirling Kong

Well enjoyed the shave today. This soap is modeled after Polo Green and smells great! Really enjoying Stirling Week that is for sure. The shave was better than expected and performed better than the last Racer blade out of the gate.

Just wanted to clarify that yesterday's event at Connor's school was NOT a graduation. It was an end of year play program, and he did wonderfully. His school goes through 8th grade and they do a graduation then. So I guess we will have one at 8th, 12th, and any post school he does. I am so ready for the weekend, and packing has started! Have a good day cadre.
