Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Feather ProGuard(4)
Soap/cream: Proraso Blue Cream
Brush: Stirling Boar
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Proraso Blue

Well yesterday and today's shaves were the exact same. Proraso Blue. No paint smell here. Been so busy and after this morning it was just easier to grab what was out. Plus the stupid cap broke the other day so I fear if I don't use the cream it will dry up and then be ruined. Not threatening a 3017 so to speak but it might be in the cards.

Well last week thursday I took it off for windows to be installed. Well I didn't turn my alarm back on so it's been a hectic morning to say the least... late to work sadly. The rains are supposed to start up this evening and go through Sunday evening. I am beginning to count down the days til vacation now. Anyways hope you all have a great day.

Sweet, love the vacation count down. The mentally checked out of work count down goes even faster.

Yea you read that right. Another shave with the Proraso. It is just working perfectly right now for me, and providing effortless shaves coupled with the Vector. I probably have about 10 shaves left of the Proraso so I might just use it up and end it. While Proraso isn't anything spectacular it is consistent. But honestly I doubt I would replace it.

Been a crazy week with two Knights of Columbus meetings. Tonight I will be doing bingo as well. Every year the state level selects 3 councils at random to do an audit on. This year we were drawn. So going through ten years worth of data is tiring and gruesome. Nothing uncovered negatively but it has uncovered some things we want to change in our record keeping. With my banking background and knowledge with the systems has put me in charge. It has been a lot of work and I am hoping to have everything done before heading to Disney. Hope you are all having a great day.

I know again the Proraso, and guess what another good shave! Nothing really to discuss here I got suckered into a weeks worth of great shaves with the Proraso. But tomorrow I will switch to the new theme.

Well the rains are hitting hard, but thankfully this morning there was a nice break in the rains that my son's soccer game went on as planned. I had a super dad moment after my son scored his first goal! Super proud and happy! He was so excited and ensured that I remembered he got McD's for scoring the goal so that is what we had for lunch. After that the whole family went in for haircuts. My barber has been cutting hair for years and his shop has two chairs he works out of one, and his wife cuts hair out of the other. He is a traditional barber and does a fantastic job in my opinion. His wife gave Megan a trim and evened out my daughter's hair as she isn't ready for a haircut but did need to be evened up a bit. We also hit up Target for some travel supplies and all that is left to do now is pack for Disney. We leave in 6 days. Have a good day cadre.

Oh man...I remember those days (barely) when playing sports, you do something good, and the family takes you to Dairy Queen, or McDonald's, or something like that. He will remember that for a while. Good Dad, Chad!

Thanks for doing the Italian theme going! I think we might get a bit more participation this week as it will be Stirling Week!

@dangerousdon A friend of mine teases his kids relentlessly..................I would too. After a season of soccer where his Step Daughters team didn't win a single game all year they went for ice cream. She wanted sprinkles on hers but he said, "Sorry sprinkles are for winners" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: I bought a big jar of sprinkles for her and said she was a winner for sticking it out and finishing even though a disappointing season. Her mom said now 4 years later she still has that jar of Sprinkles sitting on her shelf in her bedroom. 😎
