Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Yesterday she got a small cross on her inside wrist with a rose bud in the middle. Both look really nice.

My mom did an anchor with flowers to signify my grandpa who served in the Navy and has since passed on.
Nice.

....wife goes out for a tattoo (with mom-in-law) and man stays home to watch lion king. ...welcome to the twilight zone.

That $750 appraisal isn't out of line these days. Appraisals used to run $350 back when fogging a mirror was all it took to borrow against your homes "equity", now they take things a little more seriously. The cost went to $750 many years ago because the appraisal was supposed to include more research and input...but as you just saw, nothing has changed.

Catching up Chad, cool on the Tattoos, and the one we were looking at was the Beauty Rest Black and after all was said and done with the adjustable base and all it was about $8000.00 for a Cali King. We are looking at the Sleep# IQ now which is surprisingly cheaper, Who'd a Thunk it?

We went the sleepnumber route and then returned it. That cost us a chunk of change even though we got the money for the actual bed back. My wife was fine with it, but I couldn't find a setting that didn't make my back more sore than the old one we got rid of. In reality you're just sleeping on two smart air mattresses. Which a lot of people seem to have work for them. Just not me.

We ended up with I think just a Sealy Posturepedic. That was just under 1k for the queen size with box if I remember correctly. Think I've mentioned before. We went with this because it's the what they use on the Disney Cruise Line and we sleep just fine there. Little memory at home.

Well this morning I had a wonderful shave with the LNHC Plaide Cloihome really like this scent quite a bit even though it is older formula. I had a nice shave overall. Finished it up with Polo Black which is a great scent.

Super busy at work, and tonight I have a KoC meeting. Also only in Utah can you mow your lawn on Sunday and prepare to run the snow blower Wednesday morning. Storm warning was upgraded to 6 inches of snow. Seriously!

Have a good night cadre.

Razor: Game Changer .84
Blade: Asco Orange (2)
Soap/cream: LNHC Somali Rose
Brush: Maggard's Synthetic
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Polo Club Blaze
Cologne: Polo Club Blaze

Well today I grabbed the Somali rose which is another great scent by LNHC. THe shave went very well and I was happy with the results. I paired it with Polo Club Blaze which apparently very similar to Spice Bomb. This AS and Cologne can be found very cheap at drug stores, walmart, etc. The reviews are a little all over the place but honestly if you see it give it a go. I found mine at Ross awhile back for real cheap and don't regret the purchase.

Yesterday was the KoC meeting and we are preparing for probably our biggest weekend that we have had in a LONG time. Friday I pick Jesse Romero up from the airport, then head over to the church where the Knights are in charge of Stations of the Cross, Bingo, and Jesse will be doing a special talk with just the Knights that evening. Then on Saturday we start at 8AM and end at 6PM. Start with 2 talks in Spanish by Jesse, then lunch, then two talks in English, confession for Easter, rosary, and then finally mass. We have been planning this for about a year so going to be a big day! But all the proceeds go to our Carmelite Sisters and helping with repairs at their monastery.

Today is also our anniversary. Been married to my lovely wife for 9 years. And am looking forward to many many more. Tonight we will celebrate like we always do with a bottle of champagne and our original wedding flutes. Then later this month we will take a long weekend up to Park City to relax and enjoy suite I reserved which comes with personal hot tub overlooking the mountains should be a nice get away. And looking forward to it.

Have a great day Cadre.
