CBL Premium Soaps

My order from CBL arrived yesterday when I got home.

I purchased the Fresh Vetiver premium soap. It will be replacing the Stirling's Port Au Prince soap in my rotation. The Stirling's in now in the shower.

Look forward to using it and reporting back on my first time using this soap.

After I placed the order for this soap. I was kind of kicking myself for not ordering one of the tonsorial soaps. To compare to the premium line.

Well they must have read my mind. When I opened the package. I was very happy to see a little puck of tonsorial horse power was added in there to try out too.

I know @GearNoir really enjoyed the fresh vetiver, I hope you like it too. It is pretty soft stuff so if it seems to disappear really quickly (in your opinion) just let me know and I’ll hook you up with more soap. The horsepower is great soap and smells way better than it sounds like it would (burnt rubber?).

Your suspicion was right, @CBLindsay. It must have been the fragrance in the coffee and blueberry muffin soaps that were the problem. I've been using the Meadow and it doesn't turn my skin red. Thanks! I really enjoy it.
Both of those soaps irritated my skin. No other CBL soap has caused any reaction.

Good to know. The iron throne scent sounds amazing but I avoided it because I thought it was the hemp soap base that was the problem.
All of his premium soaps are made with hemp oil....

Umm, I didn't think that was the case in the beginning. Maybe now but not all on the site in premium show hemp oil as an ingredient.
Not on the beginning, no. But I’m pretty sure he switched and everything he’s producing now has hemp in it.

Aaron said he was using Meadow, and it’s a New-ish scent, and definitely made with hemp.

Cadre Soap and Russian Tea still show no hemp as examples still on the site. Just didn't want someone ordering off the site thinking it ALL has it now........

I understand @Dave in KY I was looking at some of the CBL soaps to try, but my wife did not seem too thrilled about my past purchase. Right now I just have the end scene of Inglorious Bastards in my head when Brad Pitt is saying that he'll probably get an ass chewing.

Just my 2 cents but Hemp oil is low on the allergic index and also on the Comedogenic scale where it scores the high O and recommended for most skin types including oily/ acne prone skin. Now I’m not saying it’s impossible to have a reaction to it but I’m guessing it’s more than likely the fragrance or possibly another ingredient that’s the problem.
