CBL Premium Soaps

California Sunrise intrigues me... Also the Insurgent that @Spider recently shaved with (was that recent? Yikes.) Problem is reading the scent notes does not help much. Anyone have a practical description?

I should figure out how to run a poll or somesuch. A "what's your favorite cbl scent and why" would do wonders, I bet, for those of us looking for something we'd like.

KJ nail 2 favorites and Dragons Blood should be automatic for you. I love his Russian Tea and Orange Dirt(Terre D'Hermes inspired)also.
I have tried the orange dirt but I still have never tried the Russian Tea version of his soap does it smell anything like Russian Tea ? Also I have a concern about Cinnamon because the last soap i used with cinnamon turned my face red.... How is it?

It to me smells exactly like Russian Tea when on volunteer building projects in the winter they would bring around to us to warm up. I had no reaction but everyone is different. It's on sale in his store right now. If I wasn't on a buying freeze I'd be getting backups for sure.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.

I uncover the tub and set the lid to the side of the sink. It's going to get water on it WET shaving. That's why nearly all vendors use waterproof labels. I understand Chris is no doubt looking for a more flexible option to be able to be more accommodating of scents people want without the lag of ordering labels from another source.

Yep, just random splashes of water, or sometimes I’ll set something on top of the tub, that has a little water still on it. I usually have a few tubs next to my sink at any given time. Some water is bound to hit them at some point.

Dave I can tell you waterproof labels are expensive as heck especially if you use them on the top and the sides of the jars.
