2019 Shave # 123 ( 176 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Feather Pro Guard (1)
Brush: Razorock 400
Soap: Grooming Dept. Citric
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Pitralon

Shave and out the door. Just got to 1st account so a quick entry. The Vector just amazes me !! Awesome shave. Had been meaning to try the GD Citric sample @Bill in Oneida gave me. No reaction and a good citrus soap but I have plenty of citrus and just as good or better so no desire to purchase. Glad I got to try it though and will add it to same jar. Rockin the TF Grey Vetiver again today. Have a great day Cadre!!!

Interesting scent pairing (y) TF is the stuff to kill that old Pitralon note:LOL: Just kidding, but it has that note, that's even stronger in Pure, that I don't like. I only go for Classic (German, green).

Good shave today Dave...as always. I keep acquiring citrus scented soaps. And I like them...a lot. But there are very few that just wow me from a scent perspective. Plus it is hard to find an Aftershave EdT combo that actually has longevity.

I really don't know the differences on the Pitralon (assume this is the Classic?) But it's sooo light to me I think I could pair anything with it and like the skin feel
Looks like you may have discovered a signature scent?
Not a signature scent. Just resting strengths and getting acquainted with it. I'm that guy today I thought but not getting wiffs of it like previous use.....

Agreed about AS and EdT selection. I've been wanting to try something I thonk it's @Dagwoodz uses. Happy or something or another. Thanks Don

I tried one Pitralon AS, green I think, but wasn't wowed by it. Didn't seem to last for me, and skin conditioning was just average for my skin.

This is Swiss, first of its name. Others are made in Germany, Classic (green, woodsy smell) Polar (blue, mentholy fresh) and Pure (red, smells similar as yours), which is called Original in Austria.
Oh yeah........ where'd my post in the Barbershop go ? 😂😂😂😂
I was replying too, when all of a sudden, everything disappeared

Thanks, good to know mine is the Swiss then. 👍

Great stuff Dave. Glad you are able to do things with your brother. Nice shave also!

2019 Shave # 124 ( 177 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Schick E Injector
Blade: Schick (3)
Brush: Graydog W/24mm Synbad Knot
Soap: CFG Ghost Town Barber
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: CFG Ghost Town Barber
Fragrance: CFG Ghost Town Barber EdT

GTB for the win !!! Went with this set as it's been traveling thru the Cadre Journals lately and had me itching for it. Whipped up with the recently acquired @Graydog brush from @dmshaver Brush did a great job and will be in the stable unless I gift to a friend considering Traditional Saving. Decided to use my E Schick Injector to decide if I like it enough to send to North Shore Razor for a makeover. It's more aggressive than the I 2 I have but still yields great smooth shave. Likely it will be sent eventually. Getting some stuff together today to take to a Flea Market tomorrow. I'm trying to get some more room in the Man Cave so not concerned about getting a big return as much as trying to move things along. Still have to run to do a couple floor jobs this evening but other than that around the house odds and ends. I plan on smelling good doing it though.......Have a great day Cadre !!!
