Alright all caught up again. The HeV Cognac does cause irritation to people sadly it is common. At least the scent is super nice.

As to the brush that is the one from Tom right? If so I do remember from the old place he did have a Stirling knot pulled from a brush and put into that one. Those Stirling knots are AWESOME.

Is it my imagination or is the brush handle becoming a little matte? Does the high shine scratch easily?

Just went to check for you. Just a lousy "CHEAP" phone pic. Still shiny and not a scratch on it. Grains can throw off the pic too

Oh great! I also think I didn’t realize there was fleck in the resin! Even cooler now.

Not all do and I was surprised too. This and my orange have specs/flecks in the resin and is neat when the light catches it.

Razor: 1964 Gillette Slim Setting 4
Blade: Pol Silver SI (3)

Brush: Stirling Synthetic

Soap: Chiseled Face GTB (3017 started Jan 1st)

Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Chiseled Face GTB

So I binned 2 blades today. Yesterday's shave was good but I could tell the blade wasn't as sharp and so binned it. Went with my Slim that would give me shave #3 today and gave me a great shave BUT reopened the slice next to my ear from Aretha and user error on my neck got a slice, both of which will probably resurface on tomorrow's video if I can do one. Part way thru the shave I notice 1 side of the blade was rough compared to the other so decided to stay on the 1 side for the rest of the shave and bin it when done. Loaded hard for 20 seconds but still showed the same weight after the shave on the tub, 4.8 oz........ Alum sealed things up fine after the shave. Aftershave bottle of GTB is getting mighty low and may kill it tomorrow mornings shave. The BEEHIVE arived at PO so hopefully out for delivery today but I work til 8:30 so will be awhile before I see it.........Have a great day Cadre !!!

Bummer on the slicing and dicing Dave. At least it was a GTB shave though, so that makes it all ok!
