Shave # 361 ( 414 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Game Changer .84 OC
Blade: GSB (1)
Brush: Paladin 26mm Harlequin Chief
Soap: Nuavia Rossa
Post: Lucky Tiger Vanishing cream
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: N/A
Fragrance: YSL Y Eau de Parfum

Changed up the razor as it's been awhile since using the Game Changer .84 OC. Had a nice shave but perhaps more blade feel than I want so changed it out for next shave to the .84 SB and will compare. Actually forgot the Humphrey's this morning but did add the LNHC Post Shave Balm for some skin help as I actually felt dry. Didn't get the best lather with the Nuavia this morning and was probably user error with using the badger brush after many synthetic uses. You don't realize how much water they hold compared to the man made ones. Topped off with the YSL Y Eau de Parfum. Here's what I found it described as:
"
Fragrance Family:
Earthy & Woody

Scent Type:
Citrus & Woods

Key Notes:
Apple, Sage, Vetiver, Tonka Bean

About:
Y Eau de Parfum is a seductive interpretation on the iconic Yves Saint Laurent white T-shirt and black jacket. It is an intense portrayal of the Y signature. Sophisticated notes of bergamot, ginger, and sage are sharpened by an apple accord. At its base, the boldness of vetiver embodies the passion of the Y man’s unique strength. Never stop believing. Y is masculinity redefined."

Here's what I get as a layman in the field. Sharp citrus on the opening and a subdued citrus on dry down. There's other stuff there but I don't distinguish the subtleties of what they are. It is a nice scent leaning towards fresh rather than woody. The citrus while toned down is still the main player. It's a light scent to me and won't get much feedback as I'll be by myself mostly till later working around the house. Have a great day Cadre !!

PS - Tomorrow is the last of this set of samples from Gus @GlazedBoker I've been saving the Creed Aventus 2016 for last and I'm open to recommendations on a soap and splash to use that will compliment it. Perhaps A&E Grecian Horse......

Sweet shave today. You needed more scent after the Rossa??
Enjoy your day off, Dave.
Thanks guys. Wife was gone so I started building the final wall in the bathroom so I can get the old vanity out and hopefully at least set the new one in place after moving some plumbing around. Stopped for a late breakfast. Yeah, the lather was overly wet due to user error and didn't get the usual strong scent coupled with trying to get thru the last 2 from Gus so I can share them with someone else locally. Enjoy your day guys.

I’d use a lighter scented soap for your Aventus shave, that way you can enjoy it fully the first time, no clones to distract the scent.
Nice setup! Enjoy the day!
Makes sense Chris. Thanks guys. Hope your day has gone well. Back has give out but wall built for closet, plumbing moved and sheet rocked enough to get the new vanity in place. Will connect the plumbing maybe this weekend. Old vanity burned as that's all it was good for.

Nah, couple beers and glass of wine with bruschetta tonight. Was thinking of something harder but long day of work tomorrow if I can tuff thru it. Whole time I pushed today, 2 people on mind. I wanted the wife happy with progress and didn't want @NurseDave hassling me on how long it's taking. It's hard when fitting it in around life ya know 😂😂😎
