Blasts from my past

Last couple of shaves, dug out the GBar.
Such a beautiful razor. Futuristic rather than the brutalist Micromatic..

Razor - GBar
Blade - GEM PTFE SS
Brush - Vie Long horsehair
Soap - Stropp Shoppe Vivace.

The soap is good. It never smelled much when I got it and still doesn't. :)

Thanks all!
Yesterday was a sublime one pass quick shave. The GEM Damaskeene is perfect, especially on clearing 5 day growth without hair piling up.
Easy lather from the Art of Shaving lavender cream.

Razor - GEM Damaskeene
Blade - GEM PTFE SS
Cream - AOS Lavender
Brush - B&B boar

TSA responses were timely and bloody useless and admitting no fault while suggesting nothing has changed by sending me to the same TSA website that I showed the supervisor. Harrumph.

So, to shave (whole face , long story) I made a trip to Boots for the cheap Wilkinson Sword DE they used to have. But they no longer have it, so I bought a clunky Wilkinson Sword Shavette.
Did the job well. Forgot to pack any soap, so borrowed some Gillette foamy stuff, which was surprisingly not bad

Razor - WS Shavette
Blade - Wilkinson sword

Can't say i blame you for going with a shavette. i do in a hurry. (Yes we know the only shavette is the Dovo one, but can we get over that?)

Bye beard!
