Bingo Game #39 - The T.M.I. Trivia Edition

Well...since we have so many Bingo infractions in the above posts...the following penalties will need to be imposed:

@NurseDave will be assessed a two minute timeout for insolence...but that penalty is rescinded for proper use of a Jim Carey gif. (well done)

@EMG06 will be put in timeout for as long as it takes him to read Moby Dick....in ancient Egyptian!

@Scuttlesoap will be wrapped in tin foil and dropped into a very warm place....then buttered and served with chives and sour cream.

I'll be back shortly to deliver some calls.

Hold please.

The payment for your impertinence (and my busy morning is......Magic Eyes!!!!

Todays TMI Trivia victim contestant is the man from Santa Barbara....the guy that can take a prank better than all of us combined (because that's how many were involved in his prank)...he's the west coast guru......The ladies love him....his kids love him....its @GearNoir .

Today question:
My family history is very cool......over the years I've learned that I’m related to….

1. A Native American Princess and A revolutionary General.

2. A British Privateer and a WWII submarine captain.

(I may not get back to answer this until lunch....sorry my fellow Bingo-ers, I know its not fun....enjoy some music while you wait.)

FYI, this was my nickname in high school.

Is it answer #2? British privateer and WWII submarine captain?

I’m related to Pocahontas and Major General Benjamin Lincoln.

I have a great aunt that traced our family back to the 11th century (literally pulling birth, death and marriage certificates on every family member from all over the country…this was before the internet or even computers) and one of the direct lines leads to Powhatan princess, Pocahontas. She married John Rolfe and had a son named Thomas before she died in Eastern England. The other direct relative is General George Washington’s second in command at the battle of Yorktown and the general that accepted the sword of surrender from Lord Cornwallis’s second in command. Little known American fact: most cities and counties in the southern states that have Lincoln in their name are named after General Benjamin Lincoln and NOT President Abraham Lincoln for obvious civil war reasons. General Lincoln was responsible for saving the city of Charleston from destruction at the hands of the British by surrendering the city intact. Later he became the first US Secretary of War and he was also the second lieutenant Governor for the state of Massachusetts serving alongside Governor John Hancock.

So...that's all the calls for today. Should be a better morning tomorrow.....he said hopefully.
