Your last ATG pass scared me, Bill. The angle looked to be 90 degrees (that's 32 Celsius, BTW, for @woodpusher). Never seen one of them there powder sprayer things.
That 90-degree scraping pass (flat blading?) is just preparation for the "straight shave on a moving public bus" event being slotted in for TSC Convention #2 next year.
So the flat/flat-ish strop component is obviously not convex…so the convex method must hit the same general spine and edge areas that regular flat stone method does? It just thins more steel at the edge is the “only” difference?
