beginish’s Eye on a Splintered Mind

Right now, I’m just walking in circles with this hobby. I’ve gone from deep immersion in AD’s to ‘let’s just be practical.’ Mind you, even when 3017ing, I still had serious SSAD. Something’s changed.

You should try roasting your own coffee... honest, it will eventually save you money.

First shave today on 4 days' growth. The Chubby 2 Synth made short work of the Harris Arlington puck, giving me a lot of excellent lather. I then broke out the Merkur Slant with a fresh Med Prep Personna blade and had a BBS shave in 2 blissfully comfortable passes. Finished it off with a splash of Harris Pink and was on my way.

I agree, lets get you back to the deep immersion in AD's phase. kidding. Slowing down is just a natural sign of growing old.

Fantastic shave with the Iron Throne today. Awesome lather and a great cool postshave feel. I'm reveling in the great warm sandalwood scent right now.

You should go down the beard rabbit hole sometime. I think the sagacious look would suit you well.

There was a guy in Coudersport that I would see walking around when I was going through for work that was sporting some massive muttonchops.

Oh man! I love Mutton Chops! I would rock them all the time. But work wouldn't like it so much!
