CBL "Ghost Dragon's Blood" Shave Soap
The Gentlemen's Chamber "Black" Aftershave Splash
Penhaligon's Elixir EdP

WOW, what a difference a couple of days make. Awoke at "o dark thirty", for an early mass, to the low 50's with highs today only expected to get into maybe the low 70's. It is nice to feel the crispness of fall. we have another "hurricane influence, Sergio" that will hit us early next week so rain and cool weather is the order of the week. I am OK with that as it allows me to finally rotate the soap and aftershave stock to include to fall and winter scents, that normally are to heavy to wear in the blast furnace of Tucson's summers.

Today was another offering from CBL and as expected the performance was off the chart. The fragrance on this was also a bit stronger that the other two and, of course, based on the name the "Ice Dragons" had to come out to play. Chris perfectly captured what really should be named as "The Game of Thrones" shave soap, as it captures everything you would expect that a shave soap would be in that realm. FANTASTIC.

Of course Koraat's offerings fit perfectly into the theme for today's shave and were a pleasure to shave and lather with.

3-passes today for an outstanding DSBBS (G) (10) "Dracarys" rating today LOL

Dave happy to see you posting again! I believe we had a bet though. Your avatar is supposed to be a Ute logo this week!

DAVE! Great to see you! I always enjoy your pictures and the addition of the Dragon is great!

Damn! it was cold this morning.... okay cold for me in AZ 49 LOL. being in a rural area we have horses everywhere and they were up early romping around and making noise, but I suspect it may have been my elusive bobcat that I have been trying to send to heaven. Yesterday afternoon we lost one of the chickens, when I went inside for a bit but at this point I do not know if it was the bobcat, a Great Horned Owl, of one of the various hawks, and falcons we have in the sky. either way the skies over Casa Eisenhuth may be full of artillery today.

Today's shave brought out yet another fall scent, or at least it feels that way. Good performance and the Dorko slayed it's prey without any issues. Only 2-passes today as I was lazy and have to get working on Sharon's new "She Shed" we bought for here. Doing some finishing on the inside, some more electrical. pegboards, AC, and a porch. She is as happy as a clam.

Have a Good day Gents

You need a goose Dave. A guard goose!

I like the WSP Ol Kentucky. The strength of scent it light enough I can't detect the horse race smell but I do get an almost mint julep scent that is enjoyable. Of course the lather is wicked good too.

thanks Chris, and we are looking at a rooster as this afternoon I think I found out culprits, a pair of juvenile Red Tail Hawks were swooping in on the yard about the same time as we lost the chicken yesterday. so it will be an air combat, rather than a ground offensive, LOL

The possibility of some day using gorgeous straight razors like yours is one reason to keep gaining experience with them.

More nice set ups and pix, Dave.

BTW, I have Dublin Tweed lined up for tomorrow (Wed).
Awesome Thanks Chris

Ahh, I've missed the Dave pics. Good to see you having a little time to post!

Thanks Eric

That Dorko is sweet! Love when it makes an appearance.

Thanks Tom

0500 seemed to come really fast. Seemed like I hit the pillow and BOOM it was time to get up. GRRRR. Anyway after pumping some caffeine into the old bones I was ready for a nice hot shower and shave. It was chilly here this morning at 46 so the cold water was COLD, unlike our tepid "cold" during the summer. All things algined today as I put the chopper to the face. This one still intimidates me but as long as I treat it well and drive the course it is fantastic.

The 1805 is a wonderful aquatic, but warm at the same time, and I pretty good performer I rate it T2. Three passes today for DSBBS and finished up with the 1805 Aftershave. It should be mentioned that he T&H aftershave bottles are the absolute best, the reducer is perfect and always delivers the right amount.

A few vasilli's of the Ferrari and off to cut some hairs. It was a good day.

Hope your day was good as well!
