Glad you dropped in Dave! Love the setups in those pics! Classic with a little modernity...One Question though...Where is all the SV and Pens products?

Good Day Folks!.
1st off my sincerest apologies for being a ghost lately, but have been super busy with school till about 6 and once I get home I usually pass out. On my two days it is ducks, chickens, projects and catch up. Slowly things are getting into a rhythm so I should be able to keep an eye on you pirates a bit more. LOL Id do miss you all a ton.

Also I want to thank all of you for your continued support of the TSC. Chris, Chad and I cannot be happier that we reached the milestone of 100 members and growing. I also need to sincerely thank them for taking on my share of the forum while I complete school. That being said you may have noticed that "Dave's Place" has been changed to "Dave's Barbershop". Soon I will be doing a series of articles on grooming, haircuts, shaving and basic "barbershop stuff" including choosing the right barber, hair style and what you should expect, we will try to get these in both written and video formats for both our main web page and you tube page.

A big thanks as well to those who have purchased our swag, and to our vendors and hobbyists. It is truly remarkable the growth we have seen in just 6 short months, all with out heavy dictatorial moderation like so many other forums. Again my Thanks!

Now on to the big news........

Today is the day! 1000th straight razor shave. I did not think I would ever get there. Of course it was A SV day all over. The Da Vinci came to play as I did a complete bevel reset and hone all the way with the Coti and Trans Ark, stropped till mirrored and..... ( although it smells nothing like tumbleweeds) I have to use Stella Aplina and all the accoutrements that follow this wonderful soap.

A nice lazy, lazy shave today ( over an hour ) and 3-passes + some clean up left me DSBBS (G)(10). The highest of my ratings. Finished off with Stella Alpina aftershave and splurged with a bunch of Vasilli's of BDC. Truly a Upper Crust shave today, and a great way to celebrate the milestone of 1000. Most of you I have known, and you guys have followed this shave journey since it's inception. All the cuts, stypic, and banter to go with it. WOW what a Ride and Thanks for being a part of it. Here is to the next 1000 Str8 shaves

Set-up:

Have a Blessed Sunday my friends
Will try to get as caught up as I can on your journals very soon........ I know sure he will, LOL

Take Care

BOOM!! Glad you found time to slow down and enjoy 1000.

Another option would be to only use DEs from here on out so you end your straight shaving adventure on the highest note possible. ?

Great check in Dave. Mind blowing milestone in shaves! If there’s a Master status in SR technique, I’m pretty sure you’ve reached it by now!

Looking forward to your added content and knowledge.
