It is my sad duty to report that your last statement is untrue. Perhaps you would have learned this back then, if you weren’t constantly listening to Floyd, smoking your ganja, and licking all those psychedelic toads. 😵‍💫

I respectfully offer you proof:
Who’s the blonde guy? 😉

Hope everybody has a wonderful Friday

I was in high school 20 miles outside of Boston when Aerosmith scored their first hit, which Boston radio played incessantly. I thought they were OK, but became annoyed with all the local hype. One friend was CRAZY about them, so I said, “They’re just another bar band from Boston.” For perspective, I’m also the genius who told his brother that the new band from Jersey that released an album after a couple years of touring the college circuit (where both my older brothers had twice seen them at UMass) was “…a regional act and nothing more”). I liked his name though.

Another great shave to end the work week this time with victory, shaving companies, flak bait. As with all the now unobtanium VCS soaps, they are all military and more specifically World War II themed.

This one is rum, dark cherry, and smoke and absolutely fantastic. Three passes today with Klas, and DSBBS

Swiss Pitralon is one of those fragrances that is almost a chameleon in nature with notes of pea and fruits when post with a cherry, it almost has that cherry fragrance as well

Great shaved today and I hope everybody enjoys their Saturday

A very nice shave today. The cleaver provided a wonderful shave today with its wedge shape and heavy weight. You just let the razor fall down the face although at times when going from south to north it’s heavy enough to sometimes a Pulley System LOL

The rest of the cast of characters, including the MACHRIE is a wonderful combination of rockrose and sea salt, and really captures the seaside area of Scotland of which this soap is both produced and pays tribute to

At the Ranch:

Well, only in the Grand Canyon state can you have 20s and 30s for Lowe’s 50s for highs and then two days have the chance of breaking high temperature records. Today is supposed to be somewhere around 85 in Tucson, which puts us at about 80 since we’re a little bit up in altitude. El Doggos are really enjoying this as they just lounge on the patio.

Sunny skies and warm temperatures make for a perfect day. Maybe we’ll take the jeep out and do some exploring.

Have a blessed Sunday folks

A very nice shave to begin the work week at the shop. The big take away from Roman spice is the apple in my opinion but all the other fragrance notes just work wonderfully this soap is equally comfortable in hot weather as well as cold weather.

Three passes with the Dorko and DSBBS

Some talc, some witch hazel, and some Vasilli’s of the Roman spice EDT and off to the races

Hope everyone has a great day

Opted for a DE shave for this morning. Apollo by eleven soaps is a wonderful dupe of aventus. Not quite as pineapple forward as the ethos skin food nor the original but very, very nice.

The blackbird made quick work and then was followed by witch hazel Tal, and of course, the Creed Aventus

Looking forward to a busy day at the shop and I am scheduled for 10 straight razor shaves for the day. This should be a fun one.

Have a great day folks

Halfway through my work week and a nice retro western shave today with the spaghetti western. Using the Jos Elliott rattler. A razor that has been certified to be in the barbershop during the late 1800s in tombstone Arizona.

Using the Choya brush from the cactus from my yard, it was created by greydog. Finishing up with the spaghetti western aftershave and the Goodfellas number 6 EDC.

Great way to start the day and I hope you have a great day as well

An extremely nice two pass shave this morning with all the above characters looking forward to my final day at the shop, followed by a nice weekend break
The only good thing about this Super Bowl Sunday is the fact that baseball season is coming soon

Have a great day, everybody

Beautiful set-up, Dave; I really must try Ethos products. Glad to see you wearing Aventus! It is one of my all time favorite warm weather fragrances.
