Well… It’s Wednesday… And my Monday. So, a nice shave with a vector was in order and the theme of the day was Green.

@MarkB was nice enough to send me a puck of Williams that I had never tried before, and that was the menthol. Was very excited to use this, although there was no real menthol smell off the puck and during lathering there was a very, very tiny bit of cooling, but upon rinsing, you could definitely feel the menthol

As expected, the Williams provided an absolutely fantastic slick shave for the vector to skate around on
Three passes and DSBBS. Continuing the green theme, aqua Velva sport and a Zorro wild mint for the finish along with Talc Alum, and witch hazel of the cucumber variety.

Have a great day folks

A very Ian Flemming inspired shave today with the Floris. Although the soap is a decent performer, it’s residual slickness is junk however, the fragrance and the anticipation of the number 89 aftershave and Edt, give the soap a little bit of a pass

The Gillette super adjustable black beauty did a wonderful job today with a persona blade and of course, finished everything off with with talcum powder and Alam along with the floris number 89 EDT

Hope everybody has a wonderful day

At the Ranch:
Windy cool and rainy today, so much needed rain today and tonight. El Doggos also decided it was a day to sleep in so the house was quiet. Beautiful drive in the jeep and a gorgeous sunrise with all tje clouds

It is the end of the work week for me yay!
A nice boozy smoky shave today with the soloist and replica

The blackbird did a fantastic job and I confirm that it is for me the most efficient DE razor on the market

Looking forward to the zoom call this weekend and having some nice days off to go exploring and scouting for deer season

At the ranch: we finally got some rain temperatures have been mild in the 40s in the morning and the 60s so it’s absolutely perfect weather

Hope everybody enjoys their weekend

A racing tribute shave for the Great American Race......The Daytona 500! This begins the great Summer Season of Sports, and arguably the two greatest sports in the Universe, Racing and Baseball. The Stark Daytona concept in 7/8 for the Facetrack, and the Boellis Daytona products for the shave.... Also a little tribute in the Video today to @mvargo and @Cvargo

I know, I know it is really an italian Ferrari that this set is named after, but it is my shave and my narrative, LOL.

Anyway a great 3-pass shave and ready for both the race and the zoom call later in the day

Have a Great Sunday Folks

Finally back to my senses today and a very nice shave with SV, Castle Forbes, the Vector, and the TSC/SV Brush. But with the completely useless holiday of "Presidents Day" today becomes Barber Errand day version 2.0, since yesterday was filled with non-banking, or postal errands

....anyway did not get home til very late in the evening, enjoyed a cigar, and off to dreamland. Up very early this morning as both Kona and Lyka decided they wanted to have their breakfast on the patio..... GRRRR. I have come to realize I will NEVER get the chance to sleep in LOL.

So, Shower and shave and off to battle the Blue haired drivers, and visit those well rested bank and postal workers, LOL

Oh Ya... this is a shave journal. Back to Fougere today and the Felce Aromatica is a great one, and the Aftershaves are hard to beat from SV. The Vector, as expected, is simply the best, and the Castle Forbes softened the sharpness of the FA. Of course on lather duty was the beautiful SV/TSC collab brush in Olive wood.

DSBBS and off to the races.

Have a Good Day folks

But remember, Kona and Lyka keep you safe so that you can go off to dreamland safe and confidently secure. 🐕‍🦺🦮
