A bit of a mishmash shave today, so the Tsc clown puke was perfect with the royal musk and the purple neon brush

Finished off with omega, aftershave gel, and on whisker duty today was the Gillette red tip

Have a great day, everybody

As a tribute to Dave’s bingo game, I thought I would do an Ian Fleming/James Bond style shave

Using Floris 89. From the soap to the fragrance. Although 89 is widely believed to be bond’s favorite. It was actually Fleming’s favorite and there’s really no evidence to show the bond ever shaved with Floris 89 although there is a small reference in a book that said, Fleming thought it was was the greatest.

Very nice transitional scent between summer and fall with a nice hint of nutmeg on the bottom end of the fragrance. The shave soap is typical British hit and miss but if you do get it right, it’s a wonderful soap.

Finished off with Yardley gentlemen and all of the other Floris 89 goodness

Used the British Gillette aristocrat number 15 and it provided a very nice DSBBS shave

Hope everybody enjoys their Saturday

A most British shave today, mate! I can’t remember the last time I saw a Yardley commercial, seems like a hundred years ago. A classic scent, and with the Ian Fleming endorsement of the Floris to top it off! Stiff upper lip at the shop today, sir. 👍

Well, It was bound to happen. Today's shave from the razor standpoint was an abomination. Everything else was superb. product wise, however the shave itself can not even be described as DFS, and the Alum, and aftershave sting was next level..... I will elaborate...

I received the final part of my Darwin set in the mail with the original razor blade. My razor dates to the 1920's - 1930's and the razor blade being the Cobalt High Speed Steel does as well. I did not expect a bunch from a 90+ year old blade, but initial arm test had shown promise... Well, that is where that ended.

Very rough, tuggy and just miserable. I was hoping each pass may result in some improvement, but alas, no joy. I even had to use my Vector for a complete 4th pass cleanup. I also should have just taken a blowtorch to my face, to have a better experience that with the AlumChernoble feeling I experienced.

So Ghosts of Darwin, YOU BE NUTS, as the efficiency of the Cobalt Steel to Stainless is BOLLOCKS. I promptly removed the death blade, placed it in its envelope, and promptly placed it in the Shave Display cabinet, where it shall remain. A new Personna Lab Blue was immediately put in the Darwin for subsequent usage.

Finished off the with the Darwin AS and Eucris EdT for the attempt to salvage this train wreck of a shave.

... Guess these happen every so often.

Have a blessed Sunday Folks

A Smorgasboard today. All in tribute to Aerospace, so I’m calling it. The space debris shave.

11 soaps Apollo is a Creed Aventus dupe as is the Ethos Succes. The SV Cosmo just has a space look to it so I had to add that.

Also is the fastest aircraft ever made the Blackland Blackbird in titanium.

As for the shave, a very nice three pass DSBBS shave finished off with Yardley talc and the ethos EDP

Hope everybody enjoys their Saturday

Can’t remember, what year is your Chevy? My 2014 Chevy Cruze XLT is red too, gets 30+ mpg on the highway, has a rear view camera, and a handful of other bells and whistles. What does yours have?
