Very Nice Barber Errand Day Shave
In my earlier days of wet shaving, with my trusty Atra razor from the Navy Exchange, and drugstore brush and soap in a coffee cup, I occasionally used Colgate when Williams was unavailable. It was less than a dollar, though not 15 cents! I liked it.

I look forward to your review of Conclave. I'm worried it won't be in theaters long enough for me to see it.

Drinks & Dave's Day so what else would I be using, with Club chair leather, Fresh Cigars, Charred Cedar & Cigar smoke, and of course Scotch this truly embodies what both Daves are about. The Viking and the SV TSC Cadre Brush joined the party for a perfect 3-pass DSBBS shave. Finished off with @CBLSoap.com Litsea Cubebe WH, talc and a one of a kind Islay pafum

Cooler temps, maybe a bit of rain, and lovely weather. And for the foreseeable future no 90's in the forcast 70's and low 80's ahhhhh. We saw Conclave last night and well here are my thoughts....

I think there is no doubt that it will be nominated for Picture of the Year, as well as Best Actor ( Ray Fiennes ) best supporting actor ( Stanley Tucci, or even John Lithgow ), and Best Female Supporting Actor to Isabella Rossalini. That being said the Whole cast is Stellar.

This is a heavy drama, that grabs you from the beginning and does not let go. Slow moving but artfully done with the cinematography amazing. The premise is Conclave, which is the process of electing a new pope... That is the story. It brings the viewer into that secretive election process, that is not unlike any other political process with Cardinals Jockeying for position to become the pontiff.

This has some very nice twists and turns, and covers some very controversial subjects, and is somewhat of a struggle between reformation and old school dogma. If you are Catholic, I believe you either will love this movie, as it exposes, and show that the highest level of Cardinal in reality are just men like you and me, with all the flaws and sins. It does look at Faith ( created by God ) and Religon ( created by man ) and the flaw there as well. Or you will not like it as it does bring into question the Old School Hardliner ways of the Church. In that case you may not like it, as a final twist with knock your socks off, but will also make you take a long look at Jesus's teachings, and the books of the apostles.

I for one LOVED it, as it will show folks what we as Catholics believe and where we may be wrong about some things. In the end IMHO it will being more to the Catholic Faith, and makes us realize we are sinners, and that being the case NO religion is perfect, but FAITH is.

Highly recommended whether you are a believer or not. Just a great Film

* ON a side note, also being a Harry Potter fan, you know that Fiennes played Voldemort. As such, there is a scene where he becomes very mad at someone, and it was hard not to think he was going to pull a wand from his Cardinal Robes and say "AVADA KADAVRA" ROFL, It is still a scene I cannot get out of my head...

See it!

Have a great day

Masterfully done

Great recommendation! I look forward to seeing it at some point.

Though a very different and partially comical take, I very much liked the other more recent pope-focused movie Two Popes.

Again, another shave with Seaforth as the week of spearhead shaving continues. although in aquatic to me this sent is primarily good for the fall.

With geranium, Courmarin, rosemary, oakmoss, and musk. It is a powerhouse. In fact, if you breathe in while you are applying the EDT, there’s a good chance you’re gonna be out of breath. It reminds me somewhat of inhale of Halon

It drives down to a very, very nice classy scent. The shave itself was wonderful with the TI.

Today’s my Friday and looking forward to the weekend hope everybody’s enjoying their Saturday

Another shave another Seaforth! This time Black Watch. The notes are in the photo, and another Monster Frag. IMHO reserved for the fall and winter. It can become a bit cloying in the hotter months. the Jasmine and plum do lighten it up a bit, but still "Hold your breath Sally" when you spray the EDT. Long Lasting and a nice warm dry down to Sandalwood and Incense.

The Stark Viking got the call up today. Good 3 -pass DSBBS Shave

Cold ( for us ) 57 degrees and rainy, with low lying clouds and possibly some snow in the foothills behind us. Actually a nice change. It would be nice however to see a transition, rather that 110 to 50 in 3 days, LOL. We have re-determined that our Fur Missiles are now not Siberian Huskies, but Arizona Huskies, as at 0430 this morning, when wanting outside, I opened the door, and both decided "NOPE" and jumped back in be under the blankets... OH No El Doggos, you woke me up, buck up and embrace your heritage.

Finally they went out...... Kona jumped on "His" Patio couch, curled up, and gave me the stink eye.. Lyka on the other hand felt the call of her ancestors, and went to the middle of the backyard, and stood in the rain. Thus when re-entering the house, she timed her shake just perfectly to ensure I knew what is felt like outside

"Husky This HOOMAN"

Ahh is the life with "Lanky Lyka" " and "El Doggo"

Dog treats for both..... Because I am a sucker for Doggie Eyes.

Have a Blessed Sunday Folks
