2022 TSC Convention Las Vegas April 22-24,2022 (DISCUSSION THREAD ONLY)

Extra Info #6

The Strip is one of those places everyone needs to visit…but if you try to walk the whole thing….you may not enjoy the memory (or at least, your feet won’t). The buildings are not as close as they look on tv. And the casinos don’t want you leaving their building and going to another casino….the proof of that is in the fact that several casinos have moving sidewalks to bring you in to the building but none have moving sidewalks to take you out. There are a few casinos that make it easier to visit the casino next door….but they’re typically owned by the same company. Still, there are a few stretches of the Strip that are easily walkable and will give you a nice experience. The area around Caesars/Flamingo/The Linq is walkable (plus the Linq is where the giant ferris wheel is and the Flamingo has Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville out front), Ballagio and Paris are across the street from each other (and on the other side of Flamingo Blvd from Caesars/Flamingo. The Bellagio fountain is a must-see but you will have to stand on the sidewalk out front for a few minutes (show times are every half hour during the day and every 15 minutes during the evening. The Bellagio website has a schedule). MGM/New York-New York/Excalibur/Tropicana are all on the same corner (Tropicana Blvd.) and offer many different looks at the eras of the town history (from mobster-run to family-friendly to today’s you’re-not-rich-enough-to stay-here eras). Either one of those two corners will give you a really enjoyable Strip experience without having to walk the whole thing. Coke-A-Cola World and M&M World are near MGM and are fun to visit. A fun thing to do is to visit the Coke Fountain on the second floor. They have a sample tray you can buy of different Coke products from around the world. Some of the different beverages are….interesting…and some are just nasty. But what tastes awful to me, might taste amazing to you….so if you’re near there, give it a try.

Actually, that's what the crowd looks like during the free concerts. Prepare accordingly.
Yeah I figured when I saw a stage set up and it mentions the

Fremont Street Experience

and the free concerts that that was what it was , but I just figured I would make a funny.. That is a very good point you made though for all of you guys going to Remember.. That is one of the free concerts you were mentioning so Everyone attending needs to prepare for that type of crowd.. Also another thing worth mentioning to everyone is...
This is a PSA !!
Remember that when there is a crowd like that that there WILL be people up to no good so please be aware of your surroundings and also of anything you carry with you.. Watch for pick pockets !! You may think that you will not fall victim to one but these individuals are very slick in the way they are able to take your possessions !! I saw someone have the watch that was on their wrist removed by someone without the victim realizing it... Please be aware of what's happening around you.. I want ALL OF YOU to have a great time while you are there , AND for you to all make it home without being hurt or robbed....

I look forward to hearing all the funny stories of your time at the con since I am not gonna be able to be there !!....

This band will be on stage while you are there or are scheduled to be...

And this one too....
