Hey guys.

Observations from spending 96 hours at the Four Queens this past weekend.

The Four Queens has free valet. Come in off 3rd street. Its a dead end into the back of the stage where the free concert is taking place. The street gets crowded with taxis and uber drivers so be alert to them. The valet area is small but the guys working there are super nice. Tell them you're checking in and you're good to go.

Most times I walked down the hall to my room I found that someone on my floor was smoking all the pot they had just purchased. It was a bit strong. Didn't smell it in my room, thou.

The cigar lounge at Chicago Brewing is not very big. Our group will most likely take over half the place. But I pre-warned the staff so treat them well. Also, the food was top notch.

For people that want to avoid climbing the stairs to Whiskey Licker Up, go to the casino entrance just to the right of the stairs, go straight back through Binion's, past security and go up the elevator, then head down the hallway.

Whiskey Licker Up is a fun place to watch the goings-on down on Fremont. We sat in the rotating bar for nearly 4 hours listening to the band (Alter Ego...they played 70's through to 2000's rock. It was really fun). It can be loud because they have windows that they open which are right next to the stage. Conversations were challenging but also bad singing was drown out by the volume.

The Mob Museum is really cool. I wanted to stay longer than the 90 minutes we were there (price $30/person). We only popped our heads into the Speakeasy (no charge to visit...in fact you can go to the Speakeasy without buying tickets to the Museum) and we want to go back soon.

If you're a light sleeper, ask for a room away from Fremont Street. I was toward the back of the property and I could (sorta) hear the music (which goes on until nearly dawn on friday and saturday).....luckily I took some hop flavored sleeping juice and wasn't bothered. My friends were on the 18th floor above the canopy and they said it was a bit loud for them (I can neither confirm or deny that they are overly sensitive.........they are) . Your mileage may vary or bring some earplugs or use your own sleeping juice.

There was a pandemic time didn't work. Times working again

Nice try satan ;)
