Bay Rum is an interesting thing for me. For some reason, I didn't think that I liked the bay rum scent when I first started wet shaving. But I really had no idea what it smelled like. I think I just thought of it as a "traditional" scent and I wasn't into the stuff the old men smelled like. I finally tried one and liked it. But still after owning one or two I found myself just by-passing them every time I was choosing a soap. That stigma of old traditional stuff is just ingrained in me.
