Man what a shave today. Was firing on all cylinders this morning. And did record it but sadly only got around to posting about it today. I also finished up with the Sharp Dressed Man which is one of my all time favorite scents.

So with it being the anniversary I wanted to get a lot of that stuff out of the way this morning before I got slammed at work. A couple 11 hour days this week has me exhausted! Been so busy but happy to say the two people I am hiring both accepted the offer today, so that piece is done! But no slowing down. Next week my boss and bosses boss will be in town visiting!

In other news I did go to bingo tonight to call and assist with set up. A good way to help volunteer. Our Knights Council with the funds raised actually pays the mortgage on the Church's school. So it is a good fundraiser and with my son going there and my daughter one day, any time I can volunteer seems like a good excuse.

And the last bit of news, my wife was offered the job at my son's school. The salary as expected is lower that what she is currently making but however the discount in tuition for our kids will make it worth it in the long run, so we are accepting the offer. But we will need to tighten the belt so to speak for a little bit as we adjust to the new salary this August. It is the right thing to do though for our kids and my wife's sanity. Plus they also have a pension so the retirement piece will also be covered.

Anyways getting ready for bed now! Have a good night Cadre and thanks for making this place special!

What an absolutely wonderful day! Things clicked at work...wife got the job you and her wanted...and the TSC Anniversary was a momentous day in shaving history! I hope you slept well!

Glad she got the job! Salary adjustments can take some time (trust me, I know that well.....), but it sounds like she will be much happier there. That is really important. No good going to a job you don't like for some reason every day.

Excellent news for you today Chad! Congratulations to the missus.

Thanks!

Chad, we will be here for you when you need to do the den cleaning to raise funds 😀

I'm hoping it doesn't come to that. But it will be an adjustment for sure.

Great shave and great news Chad!

Thank you

Great news on all fronts Chad

Thanks Dave.

Thanks Don. Was a lot of good news yesterday.

Boom! Sounds like a day to celebrate!

Lol. We watched Deadpool last night after kids were asleep.

Thanks Shawn I agree. The adjustment will hopefully all work out in the long run. But mental health will be better.

Well sitting at the dealership getting my oil changed, and a recall done. Then I'll be heading up to my Alma Mater I was asked to come officiate there end of season game where the coaches play the players, and then do a skills competition. I went to a small college and it's always fun to get back and interact. Hope you all have a great day.

Razor: Timeless .68
Blade: Ladas Stainless Steel (1)
Soap/cream: MW Jasmine
Brush: Razorock Beehive
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Alpa

Today was a very nice shave with the MW Jasmine . I really enjoy this scent it is not too floral that only females should be using but definitely floral. I then used the Alpa Aftershave that @GearNoir sent me, I am really liking this Aftershave.

Mother nature is teasing us right now I know it. I didn't even wear a jacket to church today it was not required. It is a beautiful day. Anyways have a great day Cadre. Just a short entry today.

Nice shave Chad. I'll have you know every time I see Beehive under your brush for the day, I get excited thinking you got your Paladin until I see RR :p

Razor: Parker Variant set at 5
Blade: Ladas Stainless Steel (2)
Soap/cream: MW Coconut Sandalwood
Brush: Stirling Finest Fan
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Floid Blue

Well today continuing with the themes I picked a favorite scent of mine the Coco Sandalwood from MW. This is a fun scent that smells wonderful to me. Reminds me of Banana Boat's Suntan Lotion. The performance was excellent today too. I had no real rhyme or reason to my aftershave choice but reached for the Floid Blue and it was actually a very nice pairing.

Nothing too crazy going on. We decided that we are going to refinance our house, and pull out a little bit of money to upgrade the windows, and central air unit. We are going to also drop down to a 20 year mortgage so we will actually pay the house off quicker and and have a smaller payment that we are currently paying. So have set up a few quotes for people to come in. Also at work this week my Boss is coming into town will be in tomorrow. So even busier than normal at the office hence the later than normal post. I am ready for the week to be over already LOL. Anyways hope you all are having a great day.

Good shave Chad! Is this house “the one” for you guys right now? Probably a good call taking care of the windows and AC now!

When we bought the house we said we could see ourselves raising kids in it til they move out, then buying a house to retire in. So with my wife's new job we definitely are here for awhile. So it made the decision for us as well.
