So today I reached for a new soap that just arrived yesterday. This is supposed to be a Cherry Tobacco scent. But honestly all I get is sweet cherries with a marzipan undertone. It reminds me of Cherry Pie. Lathering it just made it sweeter. I enjoyed the scent and the performance was fantastic but I don't think I could use this soap for multiple days in a row. If you haven't tried Ballenclaugh you definitely should, it is a very good soap.

Set up quotes yesterday for companies to come out to give bids on HVAC and Windows. So over the course of a week that is what we will be doing. Hoping to get a some good offers at reasonable prices. My boss will be landing soon and then the work week gets even more hectic. But it is what it is. Anyways hope you all have a great day!

Sorry the soap scent wasn’t what you wanted. Good shave otherwise though! Have a great work day good sir!

Well today I had a very nice shave with a soap that I don't use very often because it was never made. When I tested the scent I fell in love with it and sadly it didn't win but the awesome customer service they sent all the leftovers to me. I finished the shave with AV Sport which is a nice scent, and these green bottles are hard to find in the states, but I stocked up when they were available in the gift set.

Well what a shave today. I haven't used SV in way to long. Don't tell @HandleBarberDave especially after his news. I do love the stuff and plan to always have it in my den though. And this particular scent is my favorite followed by Dolomiti. What great stuff! The shave today just hit all the points and I waked away with a great one.

What a day. To work by 6AM then out to dinner with my boss before she heads back to New York, then home for 20 min to see the family, then to the KoC 4th degree meeting, and then now finally back home. Trying to read a few journals and obviously get this posted. Hoping to watch a couple videos tomorrow as I am expecting a slow day at work fingers crossed. Have gotten a few quotes on heating and air for the house and doing windows next tuesday. Also working with credit union on setting up the refinance the perfect way. Looking like we will be able to do all the upgrades and drop the mortgage down to a 20 year one, so knocking off 3 years, and still lowering the payment by $250 a month. And with the my wife's new job starting in August any way to help save money in places is a positive for sure.

Anyways have a good night cadre. And another post in the morning I am sure. I am going to use a fun soap tomorrow.

Blade: Trig Silver (2)
Soap/cream: Pre De Provence Shave Soap (Original)
Brush: Maggard's Synthetic
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Dr. Harris Arlington

Well continuing the theme I grabbed the PdP original soap, that is loaded with shea butter and smells of lemony goodness. I love this scent and the soap performs wonderfully. I really should use it more to be honest. I opted to pair with the DRH Arlington aftershave and it really rounded it all out. The shave was just great today. BBS all around and ready for the day.

Just trying to get through work today, then going to help out at Bingo night tonight. The weekend is a little busy but not bad. I have a haircut scheduled for tomorrow and Connor is going on to a birthday party. But at least Sunday looks to be a relaxing day hopefully. Have a great day Cadre.

I have a puck of PdP Original just sitting in my den all lonely. I might have to give it some company! 🤪
