2019 Shave # 46

Razor: Rockwell 6s Plate 5
Blade: Sputnik # 2 (1) [1 Killed Sputnik # 1 (18)]

Brush: Paladin 26mm Lemon Drop Falstaff

Soap: Stirling Sharp Dressed Man
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla

Aftershave 2: Stirling Sharp Dressed Man

Well a fresh Sputnik. Bad habits from shaving with a deteriorated blade were reflected in being too cavalier with a sharper blade and a few weepers. They quickly closed up but lesson learned that blades can be stretched but to the detriment of unlearning good technique. The Sputnik is a nice blade even tho not one of the sharpest, it is smooth. The Paladin whipped up a nice scented lather from my final of 5 Stirling soaps I was working thru. Enjoy the AS even though it leaves me a little sticky/tacky feeling compared to others such as CFG and A&E. Long day today to take tomorrow off to finish taxes and get them mailed off. Thanks for reading and or commenting. Have a great Day Cadre !!!!

Great stuff Dave...good to see you were able to get to 18 on that Sputnik, even at the expense of a little technique. Stirling really does put out a quality product that doesn't get the love that it should. I'm just as guilty as the next person of it.

I can still pick it up every so often at the end of the day but I seem to be fortunate in longevity usually. I know things don't always stay with you so don't gauge by me.

Thanks Josh and yeah I love the soaps and like the splashes

Good stuff Dave! I’ve got to get back to my Stirling soap/AS. Maybe next winter after I finish this GTB.

Some awesome Stirling Shaves and then a SV shave. Geez you are in Shave Nirvana as of late.

Thanks Dave and Chad. Shave Nirvana except for the Sputnik. Not a bad blade but not a favorite.
It's more fun if you shave with a Russian accent. Have you tried that comrade? Someone get this guy a Russian razor!

Home fighting the sinus allergies after dropping truck off for front wheel bearings and alignment since I got the new tires on yesterday. Man I have things to do around the house but head is like a pressure cooker.......resting and playing on the forum instead of anything else
