Bourbon Country Shave Journal - Dave in KY

Nice throwback shave sans the headache. That part was a bummer. And another Friday off too? That’s some greatness. My next Friday off is next week.

Friday December 28, 2018

Razor: Timeless .68 OC
Blade: Gillette Rubie (4)

Brush: Paladin 26 mm Lemon Drop Falstaff

Soap: SV 70th Anniversary

Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: SV 70th Anniversary

So I waited to buy this Soap/AS Set because of price. Every time I had it in a cart I backed away when I saw the price thinking I could get more quantity if picking something else. No regrets as I added a lot of nice stuff at these times but I have to say "This Stuff is AWESOME" !! Scent and performance, I am SOOOOOO happy I bit the bullet and bought it after selling the Aluminum General. Today's shave with the Timeless was astoundingly close and comfortable. I clean shaved and smelling great and have no where to go. Have an awesome day Cadre !! Also check out the 1st ever at TSC Auction to benefit the Cadre in the Pif section.

I have always wondered about this after shave and soap myself. So many people sing it's praises. I have almost pulled the trigger myself, but just haven't. New year coming up...maybe it is about time!

Great shave Dave!
